TODAY'S FEATURE - Blog #3139:

Yes, this was another publication given to me at the recent 2010 Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con in Artists Alley for possible review in this blog!

Actually, it's a 'colorized' version of a publication that I already blogged about as a 'Featurette' back on January 2nd of 2010. Click here for that column seen at the bottom right of that blog post.

So what's this comic book about? Well...I'd like to copy and paste some background material here, but nowhere on any of the pages on the multiple websites do I see any promo copy on this series!  Seriously!  And yes, I do realize that one of their websites is 'Under Construction', but still...This project has been online since at least mid 2009, so there should be some promo copy out there for this!

And in the 'Featurette' section of the earlier blog mentioned above, I did mention a little on what the comic was about...

So what's 'My Take' on this new colorized version of the previously published B&W comic book?

Front Cover:  The front cover shows a good crowd scene with enough poses to interest a casual browser at a LCBS.

Inside Front Cover:  I noticed at the bottom of the page is where the 'true' title of this publication is: 'Pink Power: Magic Panties #1, which is NOT what it shows on the front cover. Done on purpose?  After all it is kind of a 'reprint' with colorization and a some new text, as far as I could tell.

Splash Page: Not used as a 'splash page'. Starts right in with the storyline.

The Rest of the Pages: You know...for this comic book version, the color that has been added has made this a NEW story even though I had read it before!  And NO, I'm NOT a 'color' snob, but this colorization was done right! Kudos to the colorist, Chris Hall!

Plus, for an origin story, this is a pretty good set up.  And of course...It's "to be continued"!

I did look online and saw the first page of issue #2, but not much else has been previewed yet...

Until then, you can check the following listed websites to order the first issue, and to be interactive with the creators on both Facebook and on DeviantArt.

Here's the websites (or at least as many that I could find):

Pink Power HCMP on Facebook

hCMP on DeviantArt

PinkPowerOnline

Hcmp Blog on Blogspot

And there is more, but those are the individual creators web pages, so I won't be posting those links here.

My thanks to Zen, for submitting this new colorized version of the comic for possible review!

AND My thanks again to all of YOU reading this blog and our archived blog posts, now over the 3,137 total posts in number!

My thanks to those of YOU that have read today's blog post! I do appreciate that!

For those of you that didn't know me before today...I first set up as a 'dealer' at the 1972 San Diego West Coast Comic Con (SDCC) at the El Cortez Hotel. So I've been around comic conventions for a little while, LOL

My wife Tina and I now have an on-line exhibitor (dealer) table at the first "virtual" comic con titled the "Facebook Comic Con" (FBCC)!

You can view our dealer table and interact with us there on Facebook by clicking this link, which takes you to our table named: 'Facebook Comic Con | Make It So Marketing'.

So if YOU are a Facebook member, please 'join' our Facebook Comic Con - Make It So Marketing exhibitor table for updates, specials, links to this blog, and other wall comments that we post every day!

Also, if you are a Facebook member and would like to also join my Facebook Network, feel free to send a 'friend request' to 'Michael D Hamersky'. I am reaching the maximum of 5,000 Facebook Friends soon, and I don't want YOU to be left out!
