A Serialized Novel Online To View!

Click Here to see our current listed Comics, Books, and Graphic Novels, some by Dan Jolley!  Dan Jolley, (as seen at left), currently has a serialized novel online...  What makes this different, is that it is a novel that he wrote twelve years ago that was never published, and is now being revised online!

I have blogged previously about a 'wovel', (web novel), that is being published online right now. That is 'Firstworld' by Jemiah Jefferson, where the readers can choose where that web novel takes the next path to before being published online.

Here, comic book writer and novelist Dan Jolley is revising his first novel, REDEEMER'S LAW, a sci-fi/horror/pulp/superhero story, and inviting everyone to take part.

New chapters appear at midnight every Sunday and Wednesday at www.redeemerslaw.com, along with Dan's thoughts and editing notes. The readers of this serialized novel are encouraged to post their own comments and critiques.

Dan is known for writing several comic books including but not limited to stories for G.I. Joe, Doctor Strange, Sabretooth, Purgatori, Micronauts, and more for several comics companies.

When he was twenty-five years of age, Dan wrote this novel. He had been writing professionally, off and on, for six years prior, but everything he had done before was in the field of comic books.  He says "After a comics deal went particularly sour, I decided to develop something all on my own – no editors, no co-writers, no artists".

Dan attempted to get the novel published, but it was not accepted. He shelved it, and went back to comics. So, by summer of 2008, Dan had already scripted about 150 comic books, co-written two novels, written three more solo, and done film novelizations for both Iron Man and Transformers 2! He was pretty busy during the time between his writing his first novel in 1995-96!

Now Dan is ready to get his first novel project back on track. You can check out his progress online by checking out www.redeemerslaw.com and commenting there on each installment if you'd like...

For those of you that are on Facebook, you can join the newly formed Facebook group 'The "REDEEMER'S LAW" Project' recently created by Dan Jolley at:

I want to thank Dan Jolley for bringing this to my attention. I have read several of his comics before and was entertained by them.  You may have read some of his other works, including his licensed-property novels that include Star Trek S.C.E. - Some Assembly Required, Angel (The TV Series): Vengeance, Iron Man (The Film) Teen Novelization (version). Or his children's books, Pigling: A Cinderella Story, The Smoking Mountain, Escape From Pyramid X, among others.

I'll be sure to follow up on Dan's progress on this novel and possibly blog again about this in the future. It is currently on Chapter 4 of the novel....
