I was looking to see what we would be doing this upcoming Father's Day Weekend...  And ran across several suggestions.  If we were in the Charlotte, North Carolina region, I know for sure where we would be... at Heroes Con!

For those of You that are already in that area or wondering where to go for Father's Day and are close... here is some vital info:

Sunday, June 21, 2009 : 11.00 am - 6.00 pm

So What's the Cost?
1-day Pass: $15 per person (on-site only)
3-day Pass: $30 per person
Kids 12 & Under get in FREE!

Who's Going To Be On Panels?
Scheduled to appear are George Perez, Brian Pulido, Chris Claremont, Jeff Smith, Steve Epting, Jim Amash, Dick Giordano and more.  Please Note: Guests and scheduling are subject to change!

Thousands come every year to meet and purchase works from some of the world's best cartoonists, animators, and graphic novelists. I am running a listing of exhibitors / guests that I would have interest in seeing below:

  Brett R Pinson, known for Boomtown Scabs, Who Wants To Be A Superhero?, will  be at tables SP-9 and SP10. 

  Jeremy Dale, known for GI Joe, Popgun, Space Doubles, will be there. 
 

  Sean Forney will be at table SP-634 with his new 32 page Sketchbook and Scarlet Huntress trade for $5 each. Sean will also have several new color prints. Throughout the convention he will be doing commission sketches too.

  Vito Delsante known for his works on FCHS, Superman, Scooby Doo, Before They Were Famous: Babe Ruth, and more will be there also!

  Jim Amash has worked on Sonic, the Sonic Universe, Veronica, and the Spider-Man Sunday newspaper strip among other works. Jim is also an Associate Editor for the Alter Ego magazine and one of their lead interviewers and writers.  He is also a comics historian!

  Lyle Pollard  says "I'll be there as well! Look for me at table SP-28, just as you enter the door!"  Lyle's credits include: Tribulations (Midnight Horizon Comics/Highburn Studios), Guardians (Midnight Horizon Comics/Highburn Studios/Dakuwaka Publishing), Femme Noir (Ape Entertainment), E-Man (Digital Webbing), Black Ice (Comic Mix), B.O.T.S. (Portal Productions), Slayer (Midnight Horizon Comics), Expulse (Midnight Horizon Comics), and more! 

  Cat Staggs will also be exhibiting. She is known for  her work on Star Wars Galaxy 4, X-Men Archives, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings!

  Joe Jusko known for many works including Vampirella, Savage Tales Vol 2, and Marvel Masterpieces will be there. Ask him bout his 'Art of Joe Jusko' book!

  Teresa R Davidson, known for her work on Sonic, the Sonic Universe, Veronica, Sabrina, and Alter Ego Magazine, will also be attending! 

  Craig Hamilton, known for Fables, Starman, Sandman, Aquaman, Marvel Fanfare, says that he will be at Heroes Con, as Heroes is "is (and has been for a while) one of the greatest Comic Conventions in America!!". 

  C.B. Cebulski is a Marvel talent scout. Also known as a writer and editor. Some previous works are:  X-Men Fairy Tales, Wonderlost, War of Kings: Darkhawk.
