Alright, I have blogged several times before about Stan (The Man) Lee... Which is OK with me since he was someone I looked up to in my formative years back in the early 1960's! Plus so many of my blog readers can't always make it to where he is appearing... So it makes sense to mention whenever he does possibly make it to YOUR area! So if You are in the Pittsburgh, PA area next month... You might want to check out the following that was sent to me by Sean Forney, who also just happens to be there exhibiting at His own table! Sean sent me the following info about the Pittsburgh ComiCon which runs: September 11, 12 & 13, 2009 As the 'Guest of Honor', Stan Lee will be there ONLY on Saturday the 12th. Please Note there is an additional charge for his autograph ($40.00)! Sean tells me that he, (Sean), will be at table SO24. PLUS Sean has a 'Special' on Sunday: "Sunday is KIDZ Day- kids get in free along other special promotions for kids under 12. I will be giving out a mini sketchbook to kids on Sunday as part of the event". And just so You don't think it's just about comics creators, there's also: A Charity Auction- An Annual Costume Contest- A Casino Night - Plus Gaming Events And A Marathon Anime Movie Room For those that didn't know... The Show is held every year at The New Monroeville Exposition Center connected to the Radisson Hotel Pittsburgh.
