GRAPHIC NOVEL ONLINE FEATURETTE:   As the Holiday Season is getting closer, I find that I still have several publications that have come in for possible review in my Blog...

One that I have not seen in its' entirety is the 2nd graphic novel in the 'Strangeways' series.  That's because it is still being written and shown online as it is not completed!   I was sent a preview mini-comic that collected several of the published pages in a press release style format.

"What is STRANGEWAYS? Easy, it's the horror/western (aka "Weird West") graphic novel series written by myself, Matt Maxwell (esq, inc, ad nauseum), and illustrated by a tireless army of artists and craftsmen. Taking place in the late 1860s, STRANGEWAYS follows the story and travels of ex-Union Officer Seth Collins as he travels across the frontier, encountering strange creatures and happenings that haunt the closing frontier. As much horror as it is western, STRANGEWAYS delivers the thrills and chills, but doesn't forget what makes the west an intriguing place all its own.

This is the second STRANGEWAYS book (aka "Cowboys and Vampires"), serialized in its entirety. Updated M-W-F. In addition, you can win a copy of MURDER MOON, one given away every Wednesday, just read that Wednesday's serial page to find out how. The serial is up to chapter three currently, and will be running into autumn of this year."

The graphic novel is being written by Matt Maxwell, with art by the Argentine artist team of Gervasio and Jok.

I have enjoyed what I've seen so far, even though I have NOT read the first graphic novel.  There seems to be several supernatural westerns out there in the past few years, and I for one am enjoying them!

So if supernatural westerns are one of Your reading niches, I would suggest taking a look at this series in progress and continue to check it out as pages are posted online...
