TODAY'S FEATURE - Blog #3209:

Today's post is a 'guest blog post' by my wife, Tina LoSasso.

She attended several programs in Hall 'H' on Thursday of this years' San Diego Comic Con International while I attended other programs outside of Hall 'H'.

Here's her thoughts on one program / panel that she really enjoyed and wanted to blog about ASAP:

3-D Animated Megamind Looks Like Mega Fun!

Dreamworks’ Megamind panel at San Diego Comic-Con was an opportunity for the film’s three comedic actors to display their talents.  Will Ferrell stole the show by dressing up as his character, villain Megamind complete with blue face paint and what looked like a blue globe lampshade on his head.  He cautioned the audience members who would want to do this at home not to use spray paint, as he had.

Tina Fey (intrepid reporter Roxanne Ritchi) had a chance to live out a fantasy holding a life-size cut-out of Brad Pitt who voices everyone’s hero, Metro Man.

By his comments, Jonah Hill (TV news cameraman) showed why most of his work is in R-rated movies despite the fact that he was representing a family film and talking to a crowd with kids. SuperBad, Jonah.

The highlight of the Q&A was the re-appearance of a Comic-Con favorite, Bob Stencil to ask why such a resurgence of blue characters? Megamind, Avatar, Smurfs.

We were treated to a clip from the 3-D animation movie which looked amazing. The 3-D encompassed the entire movie, “not just sticks coming out” as Director Tom McGrath put it.

There are plenty of jokes for kids and adults alike. Best sight gag: the familiar Obama poster reinterpreted for Megamind that read: No You Can’t

Megamind will be out in time for the holiday season opening November 5, 2010. Mark your calendars and enjoy!

~Tina

My thanks to those of YOU that have read today's blog post! I do appreciate that!

For those of you that didn't know me before today... I first set up as a 'dealer' at the 1972 San Diego West Coast Comic Con (SDCC) at the El Cortez Hotel. So I've been around comic conventions for a little while, LOL

My wife Tina and I now have an on-line exhibitor (dealer) table at the first "virtual" comic con titled the "Facebook Comic Con" (FBCC)!

You can view our dealer table and interact with us there on Facebook by clicking this link, which takes you to our table named: 'Facebook Comic Con | Make It So Marketing'.

So if YOU are a Facebook member, please 'join' our Facebook Comic Con - Make It So Marketing exhibitor table for updates, specials, links to this blog, and other wall comments that we post every day!

Also, if you are a Facebook member and would like to also join my Facebook Network, feel free to send a 'friend request' to 'Michael D Hamersky'. I am reaching the maximum of 5,000 Facebook Friends soon, and I don't want YOU to be left out!
