Virtual Visitors Who Have Visited Us So Far!

We hit the 33,000th mark of visitors with a little over 102,500 page views at 16:06 PM PDT today, December 2nd, with a view of our  November 11th 2007 blog post titled 'Have A Jingle Dingle Christmas!'. This blog post was viewed by an United Kingdom blogger and was timely as it is the Christmas Season!

In our last 'numbers of visitors to our blog posts update', I mentioned that we had turned off our comments section!
We have turned off the ability to leave comments, due to the spammers spraying their 'Buy our Chinese goods' graffitti all over our blog posts! We still have several more to report and clean up, but no more can be added by them in the meantime.
From what we see on the eBay Blogs, ours was not the only blog posts being hit by the spammers, but to date there has been no solution other than to turn off the comments ability.
As a matter of fact, at 13:58 PM today eBay techs came in to our eBay blog and followed up on 10 more blog posts we had reported, and sending the regular 'canned' responses that they would look into the matter.
Thus we will continue to blog post here, but will keep the comments section closed...
Our apologies for those that have left actual comments on our blog posts in the past and would have wished to continue to do so... !

For those bloggers that are new to us, here is a little Background on our Blog:

This Blog started June 7th 2006 shortly after eBay announced the new blogging format.

July 15th 2006 we added on a stats counter as we found most viewers read but didn't comment and we wanted to know if we were being 'read'!

We also started expanding our pop culture topics as we found that more and more bloggers finding us enjoyed several of the TV Shows that we also enjoyed. Thus 'Our Take' on episodes on TV Shows that we watch was born!

We want to thank ALL of you for stopping in and visiting our Blog today.

If there are topics we don't discuss but could fit our pop culture - comic books related theme, feel free to e-mail us!

To view our recent blog posts, just click on the 'squares' in the left column to view those topics!

Also for those that have emailed us regarding our archived blog posts: Please be aware that eBay techs have revised the blogging format, thus our archived posts may be distorted to read... sorry about that but it is out of our control here!

Thanks for reading this popular culture - comics - comic books blog post!

It Would Appear That A Lot Of Bloggers Missed This Show!

(Or They Just Like Looking At the Picture of the New Supergirl!)

This is a repost of our earlier blog post that stated that Laura Vandervoort, the New Supergirl on the 'Smallville' TV Show, would be at the November Wizard World Texas!

Altho the Con ran from November 16 thru 18th, Laura was there ONLY on Saturday and Sunday!

Laura was added as 'Kara Kent', Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin, in the 7th Season of Smallville.

Laura is a 23 year old Canadian who has previously been on CSI, The Dresden Files, Instant Star and other shows.
