Wonder Women...  All!

Wonder Woman's TV Show Theme Song

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
All the world's waiting for you,
and the power you possess.

In your satin tights,
Fighting for your rights
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
Now the world is ready for you,
and the wonders you can do.

Make a hawk a dove,
Stop a war with love,
Make a liar tell the truth.

Wonder Woman,
Get us out from under, Wonder Woman.
All our hopes are pinned on you.
And the magic that you do.

Stop a bullet cold,
Make the Axis fall,
Change their minds, and change the world.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
You're a wonder, Wonder Woman.

----------------

Seems like you can't go to a convention without seeing the most popular female star of the DC Universe!

Wonder Woman that is!

She is usually one of the contestants at a masquerade show... as well as at least one costumed character on the convention floor.

At the left are four costumed  'Wonder Woman' superheroines from previous conventions!

We'll be sure to post more pics this upcoming convention season!

And yes, we do have Wonder Woman and other DC superhero comics listed for sale! Just click the Wonder Woman photos to view those listings!

Stardust:

A Brilliant And Vibrant Fairy Tale!

Tina saw the Special Preview Program of this film at the
SDCC 2007 - San Diego Comic Con International.

She thought it would be interesting to see this from the sneak
preview they showed at the Con. However the film was released
at a poor time. It should have been released during the Thanksgiving
weekend or a better time slot, as it did not do well at the Box
Offices.

Fortunately it is now on DVD! The DVD captures the film and has
actual good Bonus Features on it!

The film lives up to the graphic novel it is adapted from. The film is based on Neil Gaiman's "Stardust" which is why he was at the Comic Con Program promoting the film!

As for the main cast.... Charlie Cox, (a relatively unknown actor), is really good as Tristan, Claire Danes, (As the Falling Star), "shines", and of course Michelle Pfeiffer plays the evil witch next to perfection!

The supporting cast was well chosen...each of the seven princes actually had some characterization! Peter O'Toole, (as the dying old King), is memorable in his short scenes. And what can we say about Robert DeNiro, who plays against 'type' in the film!

If you missed out on this film at the Big Screens, then this is truly a brilliant and vibrant Fairy Tale to watch, and is good family viewing. Only some 'fantasy violence' and 'risque humour' make a PG-13 rating.

We have an ongoing comic book convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale! Just click on the pic at the top left to see our Sci-Fi genre listings!

Thanks for reading our pop culture - comics - comic book blog post!

Ok, I've Been Asked If Tina Is Out Of Town!

Because of All the 'Hot' Photos I've Been Running In Our Blog Posts!

LOL... Well... the answer is NO!

Just that there are so many different topics and pics to choose from to blog about that I sometimes run 'themes' of blog posts topics.

Late last year I was into a 'Westerns' kick since we had so many western comics listed, and there were new DVDs that were released from old western TV Shows that I had viewed growing up!

The last couple of weeks there have been many photos of gals and guys in costumes at comic and other pop culture conventions...

OK... mostly gals, but its' usually the gals who come out in larger numbers at the cons in costume!

So I am re-presenting some of the earlier blog posts in 'block' groups of pics.

First by gals at the top left, then by gals and guys posing together, and then the guys...Just click the pic to be taken to the blog post to view the full sized picture.
