Wednesday Night was the 'Results Show' where the results of "America's" votes were broadast, with the ending result of one contestant being sent home...
The below were the contestants declared to be in the 'bottom three' of the Final 7 and are listed in order of their scores ranked by Tina and Michael from the night of their latest performance:

General show news first:
Elliott Yamin sang 'Free'. Tina said 'he's a cross between an adult contemporary radio station and a jazz station'.
Phone calls section seemed stranger than on previous shows. However Michael thought it was great that one caller mentioned that Saturday would be 'National Record Store Day', especially since so many record stores have been going out of business around our local area, and the remaining few need some promotion. It was also interesting what records Randy and Paula first bought when they were younger. Of course Simon had to make a 'funny' about Paula being older and already professional when he bought his first record during this section...
Mariah Carey, who was the 'mentor' this week sang 'Bye Bye' from her new album. Tina said 'I can't stand the way she sings', whereas Michael said 'but she looks good with her black dress and ankle straps tonight'.
One of the commercials broadcast in the San Diego area at this point was for the upcoming Speed Racer film due out May 9th. Michael who did a study on commercials as to why ther were shown on TV Shows while in college picked up on what the show's demographics were thought to be by the studio running this commercial.
Secondly: The following are our thoughts after watching the process, (actually antics by Ryan Seacrest), results announced:
When it came down to Brook and Kristy being left together after Syesha was declared to be safe... Randy couldn't call it, Paula again said that 'everyone is special', and Simon said there were 'no surprises' as to who the bottom two were. Seemed to be the same-o, same-o to Michael.
Tina said that 'Brook is a ham and a half, as she cried when it was declared Kristy was going home'. Tina never really liked Kristy, although she actually voted for Kristy during 'Inspirational' Week as none other than Kristy was 'inspirational' for her.
Michael actually liked several of Kristy's performances this season, and felt that there were a couple of others who should have gone home sooner than Kristy. Michael also enjoyed that Kristy sat at the end of the table facing Simon at the show's end, and started her swan song by singing to Simon!
