John Mc Cain & Barack Obama Both Get One....

Their Own Comic Book!

This Election Year it seems that everytime you turn around there is something new in the 'News'.

I just blogged about the upcoming Barack Obama Action Figure that is due out in October, now that both the Democratic & Republican Conventions are over!

I do want to point out that both Barack Obama and John Mc Cain have their upcoming comic books due out shortly from IDW Publishing here in the San Diego area!

So don't miss out on those feature items when they are printed!

Usually the VP candidates don't rate much for collectibles, but in this election year... who knows???

And She's Only Number Six!

That's Tricia Helfer on Batttlestar Galactica!

This past weekend we went comic book store shopping to pick up more recent backstock.

One of the issues I kept coming across in various condition grades at one store was the issue shown at the top right with a Tricia Helfer photo cover.

I have to admit that I haven't kept up with Battlestar Galactica since the earlier TV Series with Lorne Greene and Richard Hatch... I did know that she was on the show tho...

So, imagine my surprise when I find out that Tricia Helfer is portraying 'Number Six' who is a seductive, statuesque Cylon infiltrator!

According to what I can find out... most, but not all versions of Number Six have platinum-blonde hair.

She was the first example shown of a new generation of Cylons capable of adapting to human form and emotions. Her introduction was during the mini series.

Well... back when I watching the earlier TV Show, the Cylons sure didn't look at 'hot' as this one! LOL!

Barack Obama

The Action Figure?!

This Election Year it seems that everytime you turn around there is something new in the 'News'.

So leave it to Jailbreak Toys to add something more to all that has come out in the past two weeks after both the Democratic & Republican Conventions!

They have created the Obama Action Figure, which is 6 inches tall, and has 8 points of articulation.

The figure is 'window boxed' and is made from phthalate-free PVC.  

The Obama Action Figure is due to ship by Late October, 2008, so put in your advance order ASAP so you don't get left out if you are an Obama fan!

The MSRP is $17.99 and subject to delay and / or manufacturer shortages!
