TODAY'S FEATURE IS BLOG #3761 - Today is December 17th... And it's also 'Wright Brothers Day', a United States national observation. It is actually 'codified' in the US Code, and commemorates the first successful flights in a heavier than air, mechanically propelled airplane. These flights were made by Orville and Wilbur Wright on December 17, 1903, near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, in the United States. Would you believe that I found three comic books that have commemorated this event? The first shown is Biographical Comics - Wright Brothers #1 from September of 2011. The second comic is Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact #458, from February of 1969. The third comic is Into The Air: The Story of the Wright Brothers' First Flight, from August 2002. There may be more that have been published... But I haven't seen them this morning. ~ Michael
