TODAY'S FEATURE IS BLOG #3634 - On Sunday I attended a meeting sponsored by Mike Towry, who is running the upcoming San Diego Comic Fest 2012, (SDCF). (Two photos from that meeting are shown above, and the SDCF's logo by Scott Shaw! is pictured by this Blog's logo.) The SDCF has a web site already, and also a Facebook Fan Page. The Facebook Fan Page can be found here: San Diego Comic Fest 2012. I volunteered to be a co-admin of the fan page, and will be adding more info / links / news/ etc., later on today. If you’ve been missing the early, intimate comic con experience or never got to experience it but wished you had, then we hope to see you in San Diego over the October 19-21, 2012 weekend. I personally am suggesting that with the total number of attendees / volunteers / honored guests / etc. being held to a maximum of 1,000, that you take a look at the Facebook fan page, look to see who are the special guests, what the programming will be, and make up your mind to first 'Like' the Facebook Fan Page for easy reference, and then click on the 'San Diego Comic Fest Memberships Now Available Online!' link to purchase your membership today! (Please note: This has no affiliation with the big Comic-Con International that is being held in San Diego in July with over 130,000 attendees.) The San Diego Comic Fest is "an old school comic con".
