Did YOU Vote For PETRELLI ??!!

Ok, you didn't vote for him, Tina didn't vote for him, and I didn't vote for him.... but he won the election in New York anyway??!! 

Those fans of the TV Show 'HEROES' will know what I am referring to... and there must have been quite a few at the SDCC / San Diego Comic Con International, because many attendees were wearing their buttons proudly on their outer garments!

Problem was, there were so many being worn, there weren't that many for anyone to pick up to sell to those unfortunate few that couldn't either get into the convention center because three out of four days were totally sold out, or they couldn't come to San Diego this year!

We have about three left at this blog post publishing! And I haven't seen that many listed on eBay for sale... so don't miss out if you are a fan! Just click on the button photo to the top right!

Is Part of the TV Guide

SCI-FI Preview!

Sometimes when we get home from a pop culture or comic book convention we find out that some promo items distributed at the convention have FAR more fan interest than we originally thought it would have!! 

We stopped at the TV Guide Booth at the SDCC / San Diego Comic Con International on the last day, only to find out that the three covers of the latest issue had been distibuted to Con attendees during the five days of the convention!

TV Guide was hosting many of the programs at the Con this year, and the host of the programs kept saying to stop by and pick up your copy of the SCI-FI Preview issue, but the booth was very small and the sign for the booth was even smaller....!!!!!

Imagine our surprise when we found out that the cover with the BIONIC WOMAN was totally out of stock, with just a few HIRO of HEROES left, plus a lot more of SMALLVILLE covers still left on hand!

So we picked up the Hiro/Heroes cover issues figuring that fans of that show or collectors would want that issue more than collectors or fans of the Smallville Show!

Well again, who knows what evil lurks in the minds of... wait that's The Shadow's intro... a different show / comic book.

Anyway, we have sold more copies of the Smallville cover than the Hiro/Heroes cover of the TV Guide! Which is surprising to us!!

So if you are a fan of the TV show or the Comic Book, and haven't picked up a copy for your collection, you might want to click the top right picture for the TV Guide, and the middle right picture for any Smallville or Superman Family Comics we currently have listed!!

Feedback is Important!

Because Stan Lee Promised Him A Comic Book At The Finale of the TV Show: "Who Wants To Be A  SuperHero ?" Season 1 and now more contestants want to be part of Comic Book History by having their own comic book!! 

Feedback was the host of the second part of the SCI-FI Friday Night Program that was held Friday July 27th at the SDCC / Comic Con International in San Diego, California.

He bounded upon the stage, thanked the fans for coming, and made sure that everyone knew that his new comic book should have been distributed to each attendee upon entering the large room.

Then the subject of the new season came up and he introduced two members of Season Two that were in attendance that night, Hyper-Strike and Hygena.

The next morning was going to be the special panel program introducing the new season's contestants, so tonight was just the showing of the first episode that had been aired on TV the night before for those that had missed it!

So it was Great that only true fans, ( or those that wanted to check it out for the first time), of the show were remaining to watch the premiere!  That was fun to be in a group of fans of this show and share the high points of this episode!

To The SDCC / Comic Con For Autographs!

That's Right!  Cassandra Peterson, a.ka. Elvira was at the Convention!

Unfortunately the hours she was set up for autographs did not coincide with our program attending!

Cassandra was scheduled for Saturday July 28th to sign @ booth AA4 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, and later that day at AA 6 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.!

Sorry to say this year I didn't 'bump' into her!  See my previous blog post where I did (by clicking here)!

We did pick up some more Elvira comics at the Con on the exhibit floor, which we will be listing in the upcoming week or so, so please check back in our eBay Featured Store! Or send us your 'want list' so we can list them in our store for you!

So no Elvira autographs this year, and no program or panel promoting any new work of hers....  however I will be posting more informative blog posts about the SDCC in the days to come!
