Third Annual Crypticon November 14th, 15th & 16th, 2008! James Cheetham has notified us of the upcoming Crypticon being held in Roseville, MN. CryptiCon is being held starting Friday, November 14th and ends on Sunday November 16th, 2008. Tina and I have not been to previous Crypticons, so you would have to contact the organizers with any questions you may have. Their web site url is shown to the right. The Guest List includes: Kelli Maroney, who both acted in and co-produced the acclaimed award-winning short movie "sam and mike." She has made guest appearances on the TV shows "Simon & Simon," "Murder, She Wrote," "The Pretender," and "Chicago Hope." Outside of her film and TV credits, Maroney has also acted on stage Chris Sarandon, who has acted in 'The Princess Bride' 1987, Fright Night 1985, and more. He was also the voice of Jack in 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. Richard Brooker, who is best known as 'Jason' in Friday the 13th II - 1982. P J Soles, who acted in 'Carrie' 1976, 'Holloween' 1978, 'The Devil's Rejects' 1985, and more. There is a 'Movie Room' at this Con, and Friday Night is 'The Indie Filmfest'.... There is also a Special Effects Competition, and a Creepy Costume Contest! If you live near the Minneapolis area, you might want to check this event out further by viewing their web site....
