TODAY'S FEATURE IS BLOG #3854...

Well, I've got just a short blog to post today, on where my wife, Tina LoSasso, and I travelled to yesterday!

That would be the Long Beach Comic Con Expo, that took place at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, from 10AM to 6PM.

At the right are photos from that event.  Here is the link for the special photo album that these photos and the others that Tina  & I shot while at the comic con expo are placed at.

I've already posted blog #3851 that showed who would be in Artist Alley, and who would be guests of the Expo. The blog also had the links to previous years at the LBCC where I posted photo albums.

I had a pretty good time at this event, and really enjoyed seeing two panels in particular.

The first one was the 11 AM - 11:45 AM - Building Your Comic Book Collection Program in Room 103B.  Hosted by Bob Bretall, (2nd photo to the right).

The second one was the 5 PM - 5:45 PM - program titled: Marketing On A Shoestring Budget - Hosted by Dale Wilson of BuyIndieComics.com and Dani Dixon of Tumble Creek Press. Sebastian Jones of Stranger Comics filled in for a sick Dale

Tina enjoyed seeing all the new faces at this year's Expo! As seen in the 4th photo to the right.

I give this 2013 LBCC Expo event a Near Mint (NM) 9.4 comic book grade. Our Thanks to Phil Lawrence, Martha Donato (shown in the bottom photo with me), Mike Scigliano, and the rest of the staff at MAD Event Management for producing such a great ongoing event!  Next year the Expo is moving upstairs to a larger ballroom!

BTW, If you are in the LA Metro Area this upcoming November 23rd & 24th, you gotta check out their larger 2 day comic con! I'll be blogging more on that in the months to come.

If you went to the LBCC Expo... You are welcome to post your thoughts on your own personal experience at my Facebook Fan Page, Michael D Hamersky On Comics
