"Into The Volcano" By Don Wood... ... was a pretty good graphic novel that young kids to teens can read and enjoy. The map of the locale at the beginning of the book was helpful in figuring out where the action was happening. Don Wood's artwork is a different style, but it went along fine with the storyline in my opinion. The coloring was very good and complemented the locale of where the story took place. What was the graphic novel about? While their parents are away doing research in different locations, brothers Duffy and Sumo Pugg go with their cousin, Mister Come-and-Go, to the Island Nation of Kocalaha. There they meet Aunt Lulu and become trapped in an erupting volcano. There is a lot of action and the graphic novel layout gives the reader the feeling that they are with the brothers during the adventure. This is a 175 page graphic novel, and for the $18.99 Cover price, it is a good read in the hardcover format. This would be a good graphic novel for libraries to buy and place in their YA (Young Adult) Section. This is just one of over 455 Reviews that Tina and I have placed in our eBay Reviews Section.
