I noticed recently that Wizard Entertainment had purchased the long running Paradise Toronto Comic Con.

Taking a look at the guest lists, I noticed a few guests I would want to blog about, including Gil Gerard, whom I have met before.

Gil has had appearances on TV shows like The Doctors, and Little House on the Prarie, but it was his role as 'Buck Rogers In The 25th Century' that would probably be of more interest to this blog's readers. That was the role he played in 1979.

Gil will be signing autographs, and greeting fans at Toronto Comic Con. Please note:  There is usually a charge for autographs, but I don't know of the specific charge for his autograph.  Also, hours and days of his or any other guests are always subject to change like at any other con.

For those of You that can make it to the Toronto, Canada area... The Toronto Comic Con runs from March 26 -28, 2010 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, ON.

For more info, please see the Facebook Fan Page for this Toronto Comic Con by clicking here

Pictured below is the cover of issue #2 of the Gold Key Comic Book, "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century", from August of 1979:

No word as to whether or not Erin Gray, who played Wilma Deering in the TV Series, will be there or not.  Tina and I don't plan on attending this comic con this year for coverage of the event.

However, we do carry for sale in our online store, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, and other Sci-Fi Comics at:

Talking about comic cons: if YOU are a comics creator, (writer, penciler, inker, colorist, letterer, etc.), OR even a Comics / Magazine Publisher, and are attending an upcoming 2010 comic con, feel free to contact me regarding YOUR works for a possible mention / review!

I've made a special blog post about: "How To Best Submit YOUR Publication For Possible Review!" for those creators / publishers that would like to possibly have their publications mentioned or reviewed, which could either be published in the 'Main Feature' or 'Featurette' sections.
