TODAY'S FEATURETTE:

It didn't take too long for me to come up with a 'Featurette' for today's blog!

Yesterday at approximately 1:30 PST, I received an email from eBay telling us that their eBay Stores format was changing as of March 30th!

Of course the headline was a 'positive' one: "Coming March 30: 5¢ Fixed Price Insertion Fees with full search exposure, FREE pictures, new low fees for Auction-style listings!"

Pictured below is a 'look' at just one page of multiple pages to wade through if You, (like us), have an eBay Store:

I've copied this to Tina, my Dad who runs Whirlibirds.com as well as an eBay Store, and a few others with eBay Stores for them to have a "heads up" on the decisions that have to be made, as sometimes the emails from eBay are staggered out over a period of time.

We have had an eBay Store since 2004, and have found it to have its' good and bad features.  Usually it takes our return customers and possible customers time to adjust to the changes eBay makes... which doesn't help sales!

Yes, some of the fees are 'decreasing' as by the line from the email: "The upfront cost of selling on eBay is about to be dramatically reduced with our lowest Insertion Fees ever."  But then again when reading all the possibilities of what to do, and how things are changing for insertion and viewability by potential buyers... it's going to take a while to digest all of this!

What I'm going to do for the next two months is to discount our least expensive items, so as to move them outta here!

Yeah, yeah I know, I've heard it too:  "Our Loss Is YOUR Gain", before, but it appears that once again individual listings are going up in listing price.

So no need to hold onto inexpensive items past March 30th and re-list... Or so it seems right now.

I'll be back to make comments on this dramatic change by eBay in the future, after reading others' comments also. Plus there is supposed to be a 'Town Hall' meeting this week on the radio. In the meantime, feel free to message or email me regarding this upcoming change.

We will be keeping as many comics and related items as we can in our online eBay Store, at least until renewal listings hit the March 30th deadline, at: ComicBooksCircus.com

Talking about publications: if YOU are a comics creator, (writer, penciler, inker, colorist, letterer, etc.), OR even a Comics / Magazine Publisher, feel free to contact me regarding YOUR works!

I've made a special blog post about: "How To Best Submit YOUR Publication For Possible Review!" for those creators / publishers that would like to possibly have their publications mentioned or reviewed, which could either be published in the 'Main Feature' or 'Featurette' sections.
