Indiana Jones And.....

Legos?!

As Reported From The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

This year we spent a little more time on the Exhibit Floor inbetween Con programs, as we went from one to another when possible.

At one point I went by the Lego Booth, and was amazed to see an Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull model.

This Lego Booth has had some good models over the years..

I have previously published an R2D2 and C3PO combination made out of Legos. (Click here for that photo!)

Also, there is a Lego magazine titled 'BrickMaster' that we picked up at the Con.

There are some amazing models that you can make at home if you are so inclined in that issue. To see the latest issue for sale, click here!

BTW, We also have an ongoing Comic Con  and Pop Culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for reading this post today and please join us again for more photos and stories from the Comic Con!

BatMom And BatMite Were At The Comic Con!

As Reported From The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

On a lighter note... I am publishing the photo to the right to show that there are fans of all ages that come to the Comic Con!

Especially on Sunday when it is considered to be "Kid's Day"!

The only thing I would have to warn those that are thinking of going next year is to be sure not to attend some more 'adult' programs which have language that is inappropriate for young children.

You are welcome to email us if you would like to know which ones, as between Tina and myself, we have seen most of the 'pros' that use the language that Comic Con found necessary to attempt to censor this year by putting warnings on the back of name placcards...

However, there is sooo much to do on the exhibit floor, that your whole day could be just spent there... seriously!

There are booths with giveaways, costumed attendees like the two at the top to see, and interactive booths for gaming, etc.

BTW, We also have an ongoing Comic Con  and Pop Culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for reading this post today and please join us again for more photos and stories from the Comic Con!

Was That Harry Potter...

At The Comic Con?!

As Reported From The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

Saturday, Tina and I joined our line buddies in a long wait for Hall H to open...

While we were waiting, there were a few costumed attendees that roamed around the line that snaked around for what seemed an eternity!

One sure looked familar although he doesn't have a comic book, anime or manga background,  and so I asked him to stop long enough for a photo, as seen at the above right!

He is the first Harry Potter I've seen at the Comic Con, but he seemed well at ease...

So this is blog post doesn't have a Wonder Woman, Catwoman, She-Hulk, or some other 'hot' looking female superhero... (for a change, LOL!)!

BTW, We also have an ongoing Comic Con  and Pop Culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Moon Bloodgood's Next Movie...

Moon Bloodgood's Next Movie......

Will Be Terminator: Salvation!

As Reported From The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

During Saturday on Comic Con Week, Tina and I joined our line buddies in a long wait for Hall H to open...

We were basically there for the 'Heroes' TV Show Panel and the 'Lost' TV Show Panel, but decided to stay for the 'Terminator: Salvation' Film Panel.

I'm glad we did, because I was able to see Moon Bloodgood in person!

Who? Well, I discovered her during the short-lived 'Journeyman' TV Series that was affected by the WGA Strike. The show had suffered low ratings and wasn't renewed... For a look at a previous archived blog post on the show and her, just click here!

Anyway, Moon will be starring in the Terminator: Salvation film, and IMHO came across very well during the panel at Comic Con. Sometimes the guests that appear are stunned or disconcerted at the immense crowd or the rowdy noise in the oversized Hall H, but not Moon Bloodgood!

Moon has also been in the following films: 'Eight Below' and 'Pathfinder'. She was also on ABC's 'Day Break' before joining 'Journeyman'.

She would be one more reason for me to catch this film, as the trailer for the film looked pretty good!

Green Lantern has the Coolest Symbol !

Green Lantern

Has The Coolest Symbol!

As Reported From The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

You see a lot of people wearing a lot of different T-shirts at Comic Con.

Some are "clean" some are not (What else would you expect from Samuel L. Jackson?!)

Some I have no idea what they are about.

One T-shirt that always turns my head is the simple, clean look of the Green Lantern.

They just make a statement. Maybe it's that they're peacekeepers, but it looks intriguing and noble.

Maybe it's the Irish in me, but they look a little Celtic to me.  Probably because of all that green!

Michael knows I like them so he took my picture with this member of the Green Lantern Corps.

And, if you've got a Green Lantern T-shirt, wear it with pride!

Tina !

Tina took my pic with Wonder Woman, the She-Hulk and more... so when I saw the above Green Lantern on the exhibit floor at the 2008 SDCC Comic Con International CCI I had to stop him for a photo with Tina!
