Puerto Rico ComicCon & Pop Culture Expo May 2-3, 2009! One of the great things about Comic Cons is the opportunity to get involved if you want to... Whether it is to act as a volunteer at the event, or be part of the organizing, or just participate in the masquerade if it has one. Of course it is also fun to just attend! The Puerto Rico Comic Con & Pop Culture Expo doesn't happen until next May 2009, but these shows take a while to be put into place! The Con organizers have set up a web site, a Facebook account, and started to get the word out about what to expect from their Con.... I will blog more this Comic Con and Pop Culture Expo as additional details come in... The Announced Guest List so far includes: Comic Book creator Mark Texeira Anime Voice actor Vic Mignognay Renee Witterstaetter Comic Book Editor and more! There is no mention on whether or not there are any panels or programs at this convention.... If you live on the island and have wanted to attend a comic convention, this could be the one to get you into the 'comics world' if you aren't already... If you are going to Puerto Rico or neighboring islands during this time period, you might want to plan to stop in...
