It's that time of year when children, (and a lot of adults!), dress up in silly or scary outfits and beg for candy!

Yes, it's time for Halloween which explains the stack of catalogs and store circulars in our mail box this week featuring ghoulish costumes, decorations, and candy.

So, what characters look like they'll be the most popular this year - okay besides, Sarah Palin/Tina Fey?

Batman and the Joker, of course!

With the Joker, we're definitely talking Heath Ledger version, forget Cesar Romero!  I hope we don't have any little Jokers trick or treating at our house - that makeup on a seven-year-old -- too creepy!

Warner Brothers is even sponsoring a "Help Batman Keep the Joker in Jail" contest.  The winner gets a VIP tour of Warner Brothers studios.

Who are you going as this Halloween?

That question was asked via email after my blogging about several Comic Cons that are coming up the rest of this year.

I thought that a blog post as a reply with photos would be a good answer! So here are just a few reasons why, (in no particular order)! 

I get my treasured comics signed by the creators, (like Stan Lee signing my Fantastic Four #1 above).

I can get my photo taken with my favorite comic book characters, (if I'm lucky!).

I get to see some of my favorite TV Stars from shows I used to watch, like Connie Selleca above!

I get to see cast members and preview episodes of upcoming TV Shows, like Knight Rider above!

The above are just a few reasons why I enjoy blogging and attending Comic Cons (and Pop Culture Cons)!
