MAJESTICON Comic Con Sunday, October 26, 2008! Sometimes we receive an invite or a promo for an upcoming comic con or pop culture show that is of short notice to us, and thus we can't give our blog readers much advance notice either. The Majesticon is one that is happening this upcoming weekend, October 26th in the Northglenn/Denver Colorado area. This Comic Con is one day only at the Ramada Plaza Convention Center. Please Note: neither Tina or I have been to this comic con before so we can't give our thoughts on previous shows at this venue. However an added plus is that another collectibles show is happening at the same time in the same center. That would be Dana Cain's Collectors' Supershow. Admission to that show is free when you purchase an admission to the Majesticon. The Guest List to the Majesticon includes: Comic book artists Daniel Crosier, Kevin Genrilcore, Alex Meyer, and Zach Meyer. There is no mention on whether or not there are any panels or programs at this one day con.... However, there are dealer tables there with comics for sale. Add in going to the collectors' show in the same center, and there should be several items of interest to see. If you live near the Northglenn / Denver area, and have wanted to attend a comic convention, this one day affair could be the one to get you into the 'comics world' if you aren't already...
