Comic Con Goddess No More!
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: Comic Cons

Comic Con

 "Goddess"

 No More!

From The SDCC Comic Con International 2008!

For my first Comic Con in 2001 I enjoyed 'Goddess' status as the only female in line for about as far as I could see. For most panels I attended with Michael I was the only woman in the audience.

Times sure have changed!

And, not just in Hollywood Hall H.  Sure the Hall H celebrity movie and TV panels are attracting the lionshare of the female audience.

But women - especially younger ones - are storming the exhibit floor with a vengeance snapping up swag and buying up collectibles.

And look out next year - the "ladies" are more likely to throw you an illegal elbow!

What are women interested in at Comic Con?

The "Twilight" movie based on a series of four vampire books of the same title, manga, toys and figurines, manga, movie freebies, Heroes, manga, LOST, oh - did I say manga?

Ladies if you couldn't make it to comic Con, we threw a few elbows of our own and snapped up some items that might interest you:  Bleach, Mirror's Edge (upcoming film), Chuck NBC TV Show Promo Comic, Bioncle Comic, Comic Con Program Book, BrickMaster Lego Magazine, Clockwork Girl Comic, Wizard Magazine with Christian Bale Dark Knight Cover, and more!

Just click on the photo at the top right to see all of our current listings... plus more to come!

Tina!

BTW... We also have an ongoing Comic Con  and Pop Culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for reading this post today and please join us again!

Even though Tina's 'status' has diminished in her eyes at the SDCC Comic Con since 2001, she still is a 'godess' among wives to me!  Also, the 1st year Tina attended the Comic Con, (2001), it had reached 51,000 in number of attendance. This year it had to surpass 125,000 due to 'Hollywood' coming down in force since 2001! (Michael)

For all of our currently listed  2008 & prior Comic Con promos and buttons and other goodies...  just click on the photo above! We will be listing more we purchased from the 2008 SDCC in the days to come... take a look at how much we picked up by clicking here at our earlier post!
