Star Wars At The Comic Con?

Star Wars

At The Comic Con?

As Reported From The Floor Of The 2008 SDCC Comic Con  International!

There were several Star Wars themed costumed characters roaming the exhibit hall of the recent San Diego Comic Con of course!

Besides the usual Slave Girl Leias, there were Storm Troopers marching up and down the premises during the times that we were there either individually or together!

And no, I wasn't able to attend the late announced 25th Anniversary of 'The Return of The Jedi' Film with the Slave Girl Leia Group Foto with Jabba the Hut as blogged about here previously!

Lucas Film had a giant sized booth again, and we stopped long enough to have my photo taken with one of the Stormtroopers nearby. See top right photo.

And of course, who could miss the life-sized Jabba The Hut that towered over the rest of the over sized booth?! See middle right photo.

Unfortunately we did not get to attend the Star Wars Fan Film Awards this year, as that special program running on Thursday July 24th from 8:30 to 10:00 conflicted with two other programs I wanted to see. (Will Eisner: Portrait Of A Sequential Artist, and 'Superhero Kung Fu Extravanganza'!

There is sooo much to see at the Comic Con that no one could see it All!!!

BTW, We also have an ongoing Comic Con  and Pop Culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale such as Star Wars Comics!
