Raquel Welch!

One of my favorite actresses, Raquel Welch, was a guest star on the second season of "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"

She was in an episode titled 'Top Copy!

She played a 'hot' TV reporter who also happened to be a former Intergang assasin!

She learned Superman's secret identity, and told the world!

As our regular blog readers know, I basically watched this show for Teri Hatcher.... but there were actually some great scenes in these episodes without her believe it or not!!!

It is so cool that more and more DVD collections are coming out on old TV Shows now! And that we can buy them on eBay (or rent them elsewhere)!
If you were a fan of Lois and Clark, or the old Superman TV show from the 1950's like I was, you could also check out our Superman Family comic books in our eBay Featured Comic Book Store for more great reading and/or collecting!

Thanks for viewing this pop culture - comics - comic books blog post!

Who Played Wonder Woman's Mother On The TV Show?

I previously posted that even though I personally enjoyed Carolyn Jones' role with Elvis Presley in the movie 'King Creole', and that most of America remembers her as Morticia Adams in the TV series 'The Addams Family', she was also a star villain in the 1966 Batman TV Series !!

Carolyn played the villain 'Marsha Queen of Diamonds' in episodes #57 & 58 first shown 11-23-66 & 11-24-66.

Afterwards she married Herbert S. Green in 1968, a voice specialist for actors.  While  she was still doing TV work, Carolyn would be cast in Tobe Hooper’s 'Eaten Alive' in 1977. This was a  horror film that also featured the future Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund.

However more important for comic book fans, she was seen in some of the Wonder Woman TV Show episodes, as 'Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons', mother of Wonder Woman  (Lynda Carter) seen to the right.

Carolyn went on to do an Addams Family reunion TV movie, and some other roles.  She unfortunately passed away at the young age of 53 due to her ongoing battle with colon cancer in 1983.  She was a good actress and I enjoyed the movies and TV shows that she starred in....

For those interested in Wonder Woman comic books, we have several for sale in our eBay Featured Store !

Beth Littleford

As 'Deidre' On 'Spin City'

Dressed Up As the Classic 'Catwoman'!

I used to watch 'Spin City' on TV but not on a regular basis.

However I did miss the above episode where the 'Classic Catwoman' made an appearance!

She does have the 1960's TV Show costume done right!

For those interested in Batman comic books, some of which feature Catwoman, we have several for sale in our eBay Featured Store !

A Penguin And A Cat(woman)

Got Together To Have A Little Fun!

I have been reminded that there have been other 'Catwomen' on the small and big screens!

Not that I didn't know that... just that I have my favorites and have blogged about those a few times before!

Lee Meriwether was cast as the Catwoman also, but I didn't really take to her portrayal as the Catwoman...

However I did enjoy Burgess as the Penguin!

Much more so than Danny DeVito's portrayal... probably because the earlier version was not so 'grim and gritty' but more fun!

For those interested in Batman comic books, some of which feature Catwoman, we have several for sale in our eBay Featured Store !
