TODAY'S FEATURETTE:

UPDATED 03-06-10 8:20 AM -  THIS SHOW IS CANCELLED PER THIS NOTICE:

SAN DIEGO QUARTERLY CON RESCHEDULED!

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you... I just started hearing about this last night, and wanted to confirm before posting at this late date!

We didn't get to attend the 1st San Diego Quarterly Con that occured at the end of last year.

However, I see that two Facebook Friends of mine, Batton Lash and Jackie Estrada, are setting up their booth at this one day event this upcoming weekend!

There is a change of venue for the 2nd show, so here is the updated info from their web site:

San Diego Quarterly Comic Con March 7th

10am – 4pm Sunday at the Boys and Girls Club

Ron Roberts Branch in Linda Vista

2230 E. Jewett Street

San Diego, CA 92111

Contact Paul Martinez: 619-381-8297

Below is a recent photo of Batton Lash and Jackie Estrada, when I last saw them at the "Celebration of San Diego Comic-Con International At Mysterious Galaxy!" last September 20th.

I'm not for sure who else will be there at this one day show besides the two shown above, but since it is a 'local' show, I'll be attending this one also. Due to its' expected size and that Tina has a prior committment, she won't be able to attend.

BTW, Years ago, during the "Go-Go 90's", Paul Martinez held several comic cons over at the Shrine in Mission Valley that I set up and sold at.

So I'm looking forward to saying hello to Paul also at this show!

For more info on this one day show please see the following link:

http://www.sdquarterlycon.com

There is also an opportunity to save on your entry fee, so check out the instructions there!

Should there be more info to blog about what I find there, I'll be sure to post it here in a later blog!

Talking about my dealing comics at comic cons several years ago: If YOU are a comics creator, (writer, penciler, inker, colorist, letterer, etc.), OR even a Comics / Magazine Publisher, feel free to contact me regarding YOUR works for a possible mention / review!

I've made a special blog post about: "How To Best Submit YOUR Publication For Possible Review!" for those creators / publishers that would like to possibly have their publications mentioned or reviewed, which could either be published in the 'Main Feature' or 'Featurette' sections.
