Back in December 2004 Fox 2000 Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Bagdasarian Productions announced it would produce a live-action / computer-generated event motion picture on Alvin and the Chipmunks!  

The long awaited movie will be released this upcoming Holiday Season On December 14th 2007! 

The Chipmunk trio and Dave Seville made recording, broadcasting and merchandising history by selling 43 million albums, starring in their own animated primetime series, plus numerous primetime specials, and the number one network Saturday Morning shows seen in over 100 countries in 40 languages during the course of their existence.

I enjoyed Alvin and the Chipmunks as a kid, and of course had one of their Christmas albums that would drive anyone nuts playing it too long!  Those squeaky voices can get to you after a while.... !

The question has been asked before... "Will Whirligigs fly in the fall and winter?"

My dad, who is a master craftsman of whirlygigs says that if you are on the East Coast, it would probably be best if you brought your whirlibird in during the winter if your area is prone to high winds and storms.

His models are made with quality materials but will last longer if brought in during rough weather.

He gets a lot of orders during the holidays since they make great gifts for people with front or back yards, and in the springtime you can see flocks of whirleygigs flying in neighbors yards!
