TODAY'S FEATURE - Blog #3134: Earlier this week I posted on my Facebook Group Page, (found at Hamersky.com), that I had received a 'Facebook Event Invite' to attend the filming of this week's "Biff, Bang, POW!" show at a Local Comic Book Shop, (LCBS), named Southern California Comics. So yesterday I arrived there before the action was to take place, (from 11 AM to 1 PM), to see the five members of the group set up, practice, and then run through the filming of the show for the week. For those of you that weren't able to attend this 'event', I am posting a link to the actual video as seen by clicking this link. The 'Facebook Event' showed the following: Filming of Biff, Bam, POW! May 13th, 2010 Date: Thursday, May 13, 2010 Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm Location: So Cal Comics - 8280 Clairemont Mesa Bl. #124 San Diego, CA. 92111 "This is our Comic-Book segment that we film every Thursday for our website (http://www.monkeytosstv.com/) at So Cal Comics. Come and watch us create our insanity and take our meds." This event's page, even though it is now over, can be found by clicking here! My thanks to Laurence E Gibbs, who sent me the invite. I had fun watching and taking photos for this blog on what the MonkeyTossTV folks did to wrap up this week's video shoot! I could go on as to what this 'Biff, Bam, Pow!' section of their web site is all about, but I believe that the video is worth more than a thousand words after watching it! My thanks also to Danny Djeljosevic, Ian Strelsky, Andrew Jacques, and Matthew Rios for opening up this film shoot for the public to watch! Plus, My thanks to Jamie Newbold, owner of SoCal Comics for hosting the event at his LCBS. As always, he was a gracious host at his shop! AND My thanks again to all of YOU reading this blog and our archived blog posts, now over the 3,131 total posts in number! ~ Michael D Hamersky @ ComicBookCollectorsBlog.com Note: Comic books like the ones discussed in the video can also be found for sale at our own online comic book store at:
