An Updated Version Of KNIGHT RIDER?!

That's Right!

The Rumours have been out there for weeks...

KITT is coming back?

KITT is coming back as a 2 hour project!

Word is that it is either for a TV Movie, or a pilot movie with a possible TV series for NBC.

Let's just hope that this remake is better than some of the ones that have hit the Big and Little Screens in the past few years!

For YOU Knight Rider Fans out there: Sure we all know the show was created by Glen A. Larson, who also created the original Battlestar Galactica-series.

BUT did YOU know that the red scanner on KITT was originally used as an eye on one of the Cylons in Battlestar Galactica??!!

Glen A. Larson liked the effect on the Cylons so much that he reused the equipment for this show!

Stay 'tooned' with us for updates as time goes by...

Well, They Are Actually My Son's POKEMON Cards!

Yesterday we had an eBayer buy some of my son's Pokemon Cards that he listed last weekend in our eBay Featured Store.

He has spent the last few months learning how to grade comics, inter-file comics in boxes, bag and board comics, label mailing envelopes, and a whole lot more procedures in running a mail order business!

Figuring out there might be something to this...he asked if we would sell some of his collections that he has put together the last several years.

I said sure, but you'll have to learn more of how this mail order biz works!  So he helped keypunch which cards are in each lot that were being listed before I double checked and posted the listing. Which is great, because those cards have some STranGE Names!

Now he knows that templates are the way to go for listing!  And that he needs to have us sell more expensive items to make any money at this!

But, on his own volition, he came out with 'this is fun!' near the end of his keypunching!

So, don't be surprised if we have more cards for sale should these lots be succesfull in selling!

EUReKA

'Our Take' On the Episodes Of

The 2 Part Season Finale

09-18-07 - 'All That Glitters'

09-25-07 - 'A Night At Global Dynamics'

This will NOT be a recap of the what happened during the two final episodes of Season Two, because of the lateness in blogging on the episodes.

We have been timely on the previous episodes of this great show this Season, but with the new Fall TV Season starting at the end of September, we had a dilema!

We had three and half shows competing in the same time slot!

So we watched one show 'live', taped a second one, skipped the show that was playing in half of the time slot, and realized that we could catch BOTH of the final episodes of EUReKA on-line back to back, which is what we did!

That was good, because these two final episodes needed to be seen together!

Why? Because these two epsisodes were not the usual fare that has been served up this Season!

These two episodes were NOT the quirky, funny, and zany episodes we have been watching, but rather a 'darker' side of EUReKA in our opinion!

Only a couple of scenes in the final eps reminded us of what grabbed our attention to this show.

The scene where Jack mentions 'Zombie attack' and he'd be out of there had the best line in the two eps and was a glimpse of previous shows.

In my opinion the Season Finale wasn't rushed, but it was almost a different show, with traces of 'Heroes' darkness added to the mix.

This is not why we watch this show. It was almost a disappointing finish to a great Season 2.

Loose ends were tied up, the plot line was advanced, and personal relationships were strengthened, but the two episodes just left us a little cold.

We like this show and look forward to its' return for a Season 3. If you are watching this season, don't let these two final episodes turn you off what has been a really different and exciting show!

If you haven't seen EUReKA yet, check out previous episodes on-line at the SCI-FI Channel's web-site!

And... If you're already a fan, you'll want the '2007 Summer Catalog' of products 'Made In EUReKA' shown at the middle of the first column.

This fun, faux catalog features pictures and descriptions for EUReKA inventions like the 'Cyro Kennel', Thought Messenger Earpiece', and 'Short Range Personality Scanner'.    It is COOL and Quirky!

... I Was Wearing My Incredible HULK T-Shirt...

And we came across a Grandfather and his almost 5 years old grandson.

The grandson saw my Hulk T-Shirt and stopped to say he liked my shirt, but his favorite superhero was 'Johnny Storm'

That is a little unusual because usually the characters are referred to as 'Human Torch' or 'The Thing' or 'Batman', etc.

He starting rattling off how he liked Peter Parker, Ben Grimm, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent.  This from an almost 5 year old!

I figured it must be from his watching all the comic book movies that are out on DVD now.

His grandfather confirmed that thought for me! Appears the grandson's uncle has all the DVDs and the grandson spends a lot of time there with his uncle!

So, I can't get away from comics even on a hike! That reminded me that this might be a good time to remind you all that the FF:2 Rise of the Silver Surfer DVD has finally been released this past week!

Be sure to get your copy, and double check to see if the special release with the shirt, DVD and poster are available in your area!  If not, check eBay of course!

Earlier this year I posted Tina's, my youngest son's, and my thoughts on the FF movie at the Theater. For 'Our Take' on the movie, just CLICK HERE to see our previous blog post!  Excuse the distortion of the post, as eBay has ONCE AGAIN made changes to the archived posts!

Additionally for those of you that are interested in Fantastic Four Comics, just click on the top left picture to view our listings for sale!

My Take On The Show So Far!

Journeyman is a New NBC Show that airs on Monday Nights at 10 PM, After 'Heroes'.

Tina and I already blogged our thoughts about the Pilot Episode ... here!

What I like about the show so far: This show is not in your face with time travel. Instead it has subtle humor where you the viewer have to pick up comparisons between the present and the past to figure out what year Journeyman is in before he does. This past week's episode showed the difference of airplane flights today versus flights in the 1970s. A much simpler time indeed!

What I think is going to affect the show:  It's moving too slow in comparison with the lead in show 'Heroes'.  Anymore, networks just don't give a new show all that much time to build up an audience.  So far, Livia has appeared with just tidbits of information as to what is going on, but it is too slow of a teaser that is supposed to keep you wanting more and come back for another episode.

So far we don't enough background information on why he is time tripping and no compelling reason to come back each week to see the newest episode.

Stay 'tooned' with us for updates as time goes by...
