Have received some emails regarding our situation out here in North San Diego County area asking if we are open for business, how the fire has affected us, etc.
Our home/home office was not affected by the fires around us during the past few days.
We have taken the 'vacation mode' off our eBay Featured Store, and have been busy invoicing and shipping orders that would have been shipped earlier this week except for being evacuated.
All orders paid through Thursday morning have been shipped, and are enroute to their buyers.
Have not listed anything new this week, due to being evacuated, but needed to get caught up with the shipping process first!
In regards to SD County as of 7:00 AM PDT, the Horno Fire North of us in Camp Pendleton is 50% contained.
The Witch Fire is still burning on Palomar Mountain area in the Northeast.
Ramona residents were allowed to return last night, although there will be no water for several days to come.
The Harris Fire in South County is still burning in the East County. The South Bay of San Diego area, (National City, Imperial Beach, etc. are OK).
So although the immediate coastal area is out of the fire crisis,
with exception of Camp Pendleton, the area is not yet back to normal, due to the ashes still falling and unhealthy air conditions.
We are fine, our family members within San Diego County area are fine, and we are back on track this morning.
I personally want to thank KUSI channel 9 (independent) TV for such great coverage of the Fires, and KGTV channel 10 ABC for their continuous coverage. These two stations were the ones that I relied on for updates during the past days, as they did not break from the fires coverage.
Again, we are open, shipping is caught up, and we will be having new listings up again shortly. Maybe even a blog post on comics or pop culture even in the near future...
Thanks to all of you who read our previous blog posts, commented and / or emailed us during this week.
