eBay Is Conducting a Cross-Border Trade Test!

We undertand that one of the categories that is part of this test is 'Collectibles'.

Our Comic Books fall under the 'Collectibles' category, and should be coming up for your searches under the 'testing guideline' that was published by eBay today as follows:

To be eligible, sellers must have 100 feedback with at least 98% positive. To be
included in this test, your items must meet the following criteria:

-Be listed in the Collectibles, Antiques, Stamps, Coins, Art, or Pottery & Glass
categories
-Offer PayPal to ensure easy Cross-Border payments
-Specify global or UK shipping options and pricing to help our buyers see the
full cost of your item
-Be located in the US

So if you don't see our listings and want to buy from us, please let us know!

We will ship all of our unslabbed, non-CGC graded comics to the UK via Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope for the charge of $11.99 USD. We can place up to nine single standard sized comics in the envelope with a cardboard insert for protection for the $11.99 shipping charge.

Unfortunately we are not able to ship slabbed CGC graded comics to the UK at this time.

Magazines are not automatically listed to be shipped outside of the USA, but can be if they fit safely in the flat rate envelope, so let us know if there is one you may be interested in and we'll revise the shipping destination!

Logan's Run Was A Novel, Movie, TV Show AND A Comic Book Series!

The comic book series was published by Marvel Comics!

It ran from January 1977 to July 1977 with only 7 issues to collect today!

The comic book series was based on the 1967 novel that was made into the 1976 hit Theatrical Movie!

The Hit Movie was then transformed into a TV Show for the 1977-78 season lasting 14 episodes!

For Marvel comic book collectors, this series has the First Solo Story of Thanos in a back-up story in issue #6. Thanos featured prominently in later Marvel Universe comics.

Additionally there are two issues with two different cover prices, which are valued by collectors!

So STAY In And READ!

Preferably ONE of Our HoRRoR or MoNSTer Comics that is !!

The Comics Code Authority came into being because of the Hearings on Comics Books as a possible cause of junevile deliquency.

Like the comic book cover to the top left could do that!

HoRRoR and MoNSTer comics were just one of the genres that had a hard time being published during the 'witch-hunts' of the 1940's to 1950's.

I remember buying these genres of comics during the late 1960's from a used book store in San Diego. They were all coverless or the top third of the cover was clipped off.

I didn't know I was buying comics that had been stripped or clipped of the covers for credit from the comics publishers.

Now that was a HoRRoR!  Trying to figure out what comic book I was buying, as these were all 1950's comics and the indicia with the title and issue numbers were on the inside cover, not the splash page!

It's... WEREWOLF BY NIGHT !

WereWolf By Night was one of the HoRRoR / MoNSTer comics that Marvel Comics Started after the Comics Code Authority, (CCA),relaxed its rules on what could be printed in a comic book.

Marvel was already paying licensing fees for other properties, so it looked to characters in the Public Domain to publish in this HoRRoR MoNSTer genre.

Werewolf was one such character, and to copyright it, the 'By Night' was added.

'Werewolf By Night' ran for 43 issues from September 1972 to March of 1977.

One of the best draws this has for comic book collectors is that MIKE PLOOG drew the early issues of the comic!

From the latest San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), I found out why he left the comic.  Appears he was asked to other Marvel Characters into the comic book, one that he didn't want to draw. Thus he left this book!

With only 43 issues printed, this is a good series for HoRRoR / MoNSTer Comic Fans to collect!

Journey Into Mystery #83

Is Where The Mighty Thor's Series Started!

Journey Into Mystery #1 was published in June of 1952, and ended with issue #125 in February 1966.

The title was changed to 'Mighty Thor' with issue #126 as super-heroes had taken over all of the HoRRoR / MoNSTer books published by Marvel!  (Tales To Astonish, Tales of Suspense, Strange Tales, Journey Into Mystery.)

Mighty Thor went on for several more decades for Marvel before ending its long run and started over with a new #1 issue.

For back issues of The Mighty Thor or Journey Into Mystery where his first exploits were published.... just click on the top left picture to see our listings!
