She-Devil With A Sword!

This was the second comic book series by Marvel Comics that had the title 'Marvel Feature'.

This comic book series featured Red Sonja, She-Devil With A Sword!

Created by the same Robert E Howard (REH) that created King Kull, Conan The Barbarian, Solomon Kane and others!

The Red Sonja feature for all seven issues of this 2nd series. Issue #1 was published November 1975 and #7 ended with Red Sonja VERSUS Conan in November 1976!

This is a good series of Red Sonja stories, and is quite often overlooked by Red Sonja collectors, as she has had several other series that featured her name in the title!

That Is !!

Tina and I watched the latest episode last night, 10-14-07, and the show is continuing to be even better this Season!

For those of you that stopped watching during the second season because it was so lame... now is the time to return!

Tina's favorite scene was of Lynette and the special brownies her mother made for her.... she was funny after eating them!

Tina also noticed this episode that Susan has a bust this year... something I noticed the first episode of the new season... LOL!

The plan that Carlos has paid for to take care of his 'problem' is being handled by a CPA ?????

Again this is a very good season for Desperate Housewives fans this year!

Was just over at the new comic book 'neighborhood' that eBay set up earlier, checking on our discussion thread we started!

An eBayer there asked us if there was any comic cons in her area of North Carolina, and I found this one that I had not seen before.

Also, Roy Thomas, who I enjoy hearing speak, is one of the guests there this weekend!

Price Guide: Underground Comix!

We just received another e-mail asking if we knew the value of an underground comic book and if we stock any in our stores.

So we referred them to our archived eBay Blog Post, which has since become distorted in viewing due to the eBay blog format change. So here is the previous blog post, updated, in an easier-to-read form.

We sell what we know best, and Underground comic books were around when Michael first started collecting comics. However they were not allowed in Michael's house when he was a kid in the 1960's, and the genre actually never interested him, although he did run across them in high school. Thus we don't stock this genre of comic books.

However, for those of you that have interest in the genre, the first new Underground and Adult comix price guide in a quarter-century has recently been published. Veteran Underground creator, publisher and retailer Dan Fogel provides a realistic and very informative guide to prices and how to determine printings. Comprising over 1800 titles and 5000 individual issues.

Fogel's Guide also boasts comprehensive insider articles and information unavailable anywhere else. As a bonus to UG fans, Larry (Dr. Atomic) Todd's infamous comix classic "Vampironica" is reprinted for the first time, alongside a new story "The Hard Hand", by Fogel and Carnal Comics artist Randy Vogel. Fogel's Underground Comix Price Guide is a 224-page trade paperback, with a black and white interior and 8 pages of color.
