Smallville TV Show's Supergirl Will Be At....

Wizard World Texas!

Laura Vandervoort, the New Supergirl on the 'Smallville' TV Show, will be at the November Wizard World Texas!

Altho the Con runs from November 16 thru 18th, Laura will be there ONLY on Saturday and Sunday!

Laura was added as 'Kara Kent', Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin, in the 7th Season of Smallville.

Laura is a 23 year old Canadian who has previously been on CSI, The Dresden Files, Instant Star and other shows.

Heroes TV Show

'Our Take'

10-15-07!

Again, this will not be a scene by scene synopsis of the epsisode from last night.

Rather it is just our thoughts on the progress of the show so far this season up to the 10-15-07 episode.

First of all, both Tina and I were a little disappointed as to who(m) were depicted last night in scenes.

Again, Maya and her brother had plenty of air-time, but finally we see an 'original' player from last year enter the scene. Sylar!

He is given a ride by the American who is also transporting Maya and her brother because they broke him out of jail...

Ok, we'll see how this plays out, but still not interested in Maya or her brother.

We see Micah, and his cousins in New Orleans... lots of air-time there, as his female cousin turns out to have a power too...

What's happened to Peter??? Nothing this episode...

What's happend to Hiro??? Nothing this episode...

We do see development on HRG and the Cheerleader. Her new 'boyfriend' actually is a character that may be interesting to follow...

Tina voices aloud that this season of Heroes is starting to travel the way 'Lost' did in the Season it 'Lost' its' way with us.

More new characters are introduced, at the expense of not developing the original characters... and more new tangents that just slow down what we are tuning in to see...

NBC Monday night is all we watch at this time, but each show appears to be up and down in our interest barometer each week!

'Our Take'

10-15-07

'Chuck' is continuing to pick up our interest as the new Season unfolds!

Last Night's episode introduced a guest star who made it a 'love triangle' between Chuck and 'Sarah' and herself! Those love triangles are usually good to build up viewer interest...

Zachary Levi is both funny and serious playing Chuck thus far, and is a good reason to continue to watch this show.

Adam Baldwin was as 'stiff' as ever, which is why his character comes across so good!

The verbal exchanges between Chuck and 'Sarah' continued this episode, and we find that 'Sarah' doesn't realize it yet, but is falling for Chuck...

'Sarah' is in trouble keeping her cover at her fast food job, with her boss being uspet at her for being late and missing work. So that touch of 'reality' helps position this show in 'real life'. Also, Yvonne Strahovski as 'Sarah' is starting to become likeable as a character!

It is nice to see a show with 'action' but not over-the-top violence for a change.

If you have not seen this show yet, you should give an episode a try!

This is an update from the new comic book 'neighborhood' that eBay set up earlier. I was there checking on our discussion thread we started!

An eBayer there asked us if there was any comic cons in her area of North Carolina, and I found this one that I had not seen before.

Also, Roy Thomas, who I enjoy hearing speak, is one of the guests there this weekend!
