American Idol Judges

On Larry King Show

 04-07-08

Part II

As stated in our earlier blog post, Paula, Randy, Simon Plus Ryan Seacrest were guests on Larry King's TV Show last night.

They were on for the full hour promoting their 'Idol Gives Back' Show, but I will be blogging only about a few points that were made:

Imagine the SURPRISE last night when the 'judges' of the Fox hit reality TV show spoke about the possibility of this being the show's final season!

"We have decided that we are going to CALL IT QUITS after this one," Simon Cowell revealed to Larry's question!

However he quickly retracted his answer with a chuckle, saying that he was just kidding!

I thought it was a little late for an 'April's Fools Joke' myself!

Simon then stated how all of them were in a contract for at least two more seasons after this current one.

I found it interesting that Simon's admittance that he gets 'bored' with the auditions matched Tina's actual dislike for the audition shows we have to sit through before the 'Hollywood Week' is shown.

Personally i think that it much like the preseason football games of the NFL, where the season ticket holders have to purchase the two home games as part of the package...

Simon said that he simply hates the auditions... But for some reason the TV viewers love it, and so they are compiled for airing!

There will be another blog post on how the Judges and Ryan rate the remaining 8 idols soon from us!

We have an ongoing comics and pop culture convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for reading and check back again for more American Idol updates!

American Idol Judges

On Larry King Show

 04-07-08

Paula, Randy and Simon Plus Ryan Seacrest were guests on Larry King's TV Show last night.

They were on for the full hour, but I will be blogging only about a few points that were made:

Larry asked Simon and Ryan if their TV feuding was real.

Simon says he finds Ryan to be like a mosquito in the bedroom. After a period of time, you just want to swat it.

Ryan says Simon knows his job well, but that Simon just wants to be always right, when he is challenged he squirms!

Larry asked why the different genres of music, like 'country music' last week for a theme...

Simon said the contestants are in a 'bubble'. They don't stop to think why should the viewers at home stay tuned for their performance if they don't give it their all. He's afraid that viewers at home would tune out if the other contestants weren't coming up right afterwards!

Paula disagreed as usual with Simon. Paula said that all the remaining 8 idols are distinctive. You can figure out who they are by their voices.

Simon rebutted by saying only 2 or 3 are truly distinctive of the 8 contestants at this point.

There will be another blog post on how the Judges and Ryan rate the remaining 8 idols soon from us!
