He's The Cover Feature On

 Parade Magazine

 Today 04-20-08!

That would be Robert Downey Jr, who in Tina's and my opinions makes the perfect Tony Stark for the upcoming Iron Man Film!

The cover article shows the depths which Robert sunk to, and his wanting to recover to make good.

I personally found it  very interesting how he saw Keanu and Depp star in big blockbusters and how he wanted to show his son he could do the same! With the Iron Man Film this should show everyone that he too can play in a 'franchise' blockbuster!

This cover feature article should definitely help promote the upcoming May 2nd Film Release of Iron Man Film!

BotCon 2008

For Transformers Fans!

BotCon 2008 will be held in Cincinnati, OH at the Duke Energy Center.

Convention dates are: April 24-27th, 2008!

The Con Hotel is across the street and is the Hyatt Regency.

Special guests scheduled for this year are: Simon Furman, David Kaye, Bumper Robinson and Tara Strong.

I want to thank fellow eBayer ironchassis for bringing this convention to my attention!

Last summer she took her son to the convention as he is a major Transformers Fan and he recommends it!

The Con has been around since 1994 but has been known by other names, (OTTFC etc.).

For you Transformers fans near the Ohio area, you might want to check this con out this upcoming week!

Regular Readers of our Blog know that I check our Blog Stats daily!

So far this quiet Sunday morning, it is The actress Carolyn Jone's  day to be 'Hot' because right now our archived blog post on the fact that she played Wonder Woman's mother on the TV Show is reaching 10% of our current blog viewership!

Actually in the past month, this archived blog post has been in the Top 25 almost on a daily basis... so other blog directories must have picked up on this little known fact, causing more bloggers to check this blog post out! ( CLICK HERE for archived blog post!)

Did You Find One Of These Quarters?

Back on May 21st, 2007 I blogged, (CLICK HERE), about the promotional coin that was being distributed in advance of the premiere of the then upcoming Fantastic Four: 2 - Rise Of the Silver Surfer Film!

At that time I did not run a photo of the quarters, and due to the U.S. Mint having a problem with the quarters being distributed, they were even harder to find!

20th Century Fox had 40,000 of them made with the Silver Surfer emblazoned on the back side of the quarter as shown to the top right.

That quarter could have gotten you a trip to the UK for the World Premiere of the Film, or one of several other prizes being offered. Or you could have kept it for possible resale.

As a matter of fact, in the last two weeks, those quarters have sold on eBay from $20 to $35 each! (Click Here!)

Not So Hot About It?

Earlier I blogged that our Fantastic Four Films archived blog post was seeing 25% of our current traffic! (Click Here.)

So, that usually means that bloggers are searching for the latest news on whatever archived blog post that is being viewed that much!

Unfortunately I only find that Chris Evans, aka The Human Torch in the two FF films, had suggested about three weeks ago that the FF3 Film may not be made!

Some other bloggers and other web sites are suggesting that Chris may not want to be part of the next FF Film, but I have not seen that verified.

He actually is stated as saying he would love to a cameo in the other Marvel Films as the Human Torch!

Other than that news from three weeks ago I don't see anything else at this time on a FF:3 Film!
