We Weren't Too Far Off... On The KITT Film! KITT? Knight Industries Three Thousand!
Note: Please 'Click Here' for our October 2007 blog post about the then upcoming film. The 2 hour movie was shown on Saturday February 23rd on TV. I just got around to watching it, as Tina didn't want to watch it, as she had not been 'into it' when the first series was on 25 years ago... So the following are my thoughts only! The storyline seemed to be a little contrived at first, but then it got a lot better! Possibly because this was a 2 hr movie, a lot of tie-ins had to be explained quickly thus seeming contrived... I did find the new KITT, a modified Mustang, to be a great car for the 2000's film. The main actors all did their performances well, and the adding of the original Michael Knight (rider) at the end was a great touch of tying the old series in with the new! That I liked, unlike the new Bionic Woman TV Series that had no tie-in with the old! I for one would like to see a new TV Series with this cast! It would be watchable IMHO! For those of you that enjoy illustrated adaptations of TV Shows and Movies... just click the top right film poster to see all of our current listings! Thanks for reading this popular culture - comics - comic books blog post! Michael
