Down To The Final Two! Jericho!

Down To The...

 Final

Two

 Episodes!

Jericho TV Show!

With the abbreviated TV Season this year, we just haven't felt like blogging too much on the shows that are currently on...

However, Jericho has IMHO been worth watching for this 2nd and probably final TV Season.

There has been so much action, probably due to an abbreviated season that some of the action is a little out of character... which has perturbed Tina. Especially the shooting that went on at the farmhouse.

However I look at it as a scene that pushed the action forward quicker because there were just a few episodes left... and tonight is one of the final two episodes! Hopefully it will come out on DVD later for those of you that missed the start of the 2nd Season of Jericho!

Thanks for reading this popular culture - comics - comic books blog post!

Snakes On A Plane....????
Mood:  quizzical
Topic: Comic Book History

No... Snakes In the Comics:

Anaconda, Asp, Black Mamba, Black Racer, Cobra, Copperhead, Count Viper, Diamondback, Kobra, Serptent Society, Venom, Viper, yada yada yada...

So Many Snake-like Superheroes and Supervillains...

But The Most Popular Of All would Have to be....

Venom...

Who Was Featured Many Times in Spider-Man Comics and Even His Own Series!

There must be something fascinating about snakes for males, which is what most of today's mainstream comics are aimed for...

During the many 'ages of comics' there have been multiple usage of snakes' names for supervillains. Very few were used for superheroes.

As comics readers got over the 'fear' of spiders, most have also gotten over their fear of snakes with the popularity of 'Venom' who visualizes the combination of both snake and spider.

So much so, that one of Venom's biggest boosters is our female salesclerk at the local video store. We have nicknamed her 'Venom Girl' even tho recently she was sporting the 'bee antannae' promoting the new 'Bee Movie' the video chain was promoting!

You can read more about Venom and even Spider-Man by clicking on the top right comic book cover to see what listings we have in stock!

We have an ongoing comic book convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for viewing this pop culture - comics - comic books blog post!

Back in 1962 Stan Lee took the idea of a human having spider powers and making a superhero.  Back then spiders were considered creepy crawling things, and to make a teenager into a superhero was pretty daring!

So much much later, Marvel Comics took the idea of a creepy crawling thing adding a snake like quality and making the 'spider/snake-like' creature into a classic villain!!

We Weren't Too Far Off On The KITT Film !

We Weren't Too Far Off...

 On The KITT Film!

KITT?

Knight Industries Three Thousand!

Note: Please 'Click Here' for our October 2007 blog post about the then upcoming film.

The 2 hour movie was shown on Saturday February 23rd on TV.

I just got around to watching it, as Tina didn't want to watch it, as she had not been 'into it' when the first series was on 25 years ago...

So the following are my thoughts only!

The storyline seemed to be a little contrived at first, but then it got a lot better! Possibly because this was a 2 hr movie, a lot of tie-ins had to be explained quickly thus seeming contrived...

I did find the new KITT, a modified Mustang, to be a great car for the 2000's film.

The main actors all did their performances well, and the adding of the original Michael Knight (rider) at the end was a great touch of tying the old series in with the new!

That I liked, unlike the new Bionic Woman TV Series that had no tie-in with the old!

I for one would like to see a new TV Series with this cast! It would be watchable IMHO!

For those of you that enjoy illustrated adaptations of TV Shows and Movies... just click the top right film poster to see all of our current listings!

Thanks for reading this popular culture - comics - comic books blog post!
