Jungle Comics are a comic book genre that is starting to come back into favor, what with Shanna and other Jungle Queens being redone today as GGA (Good Girl Art)!

Of course there are those that favor ERB's Tarzan of the Apes, which seems to cycle through every 10-20 years in popularity.

Currently we are listing Jungle Action, Jungle Adventures, Ka-Zar Lord of the Jungle, and Astonishing Tales featuring Ka-Zar.

We are running the cover at the top right in conjuction with our jungle comics and mags that we have purchased and are now listing in our eBay Featured Store!

Which isn't bad, considering what we have here is a small niche pop culture - comics - comic book movie genre of blog!

We intentionally don't make it a 'chat-room' style of blog, but rather a more 'informative' style, so that we can bring to our readers either upcoming films to prepare for, or conventions to attend, or films to view on DVD, etc. etc.!

All in all it's been a fun time since July 15th 2006, when we started counting after placing a stats counter on our blog as eBay didn't have a counter as it was a brand new format for them!

We want to thank the 100,000th visitor who was using a pacbell connection, and viewed the archived blog post from December 28, 2007 about: The 4400 TV Show Season 5 Is Cancelled...

Batmobile Statue Coming Out!

DC Direct is working on a Batmobile Statue based on the classic George Barris design!

It is said to be a realistic statue complete with working lights!

For you youngsters, there is a pic of the Classic Batmobile at the top right with Robin and Batman!

There are so many pop culture topics to blog about right now!

We have been blogging so much about the upcoming Iron Man Film being released May 2nd 2008, that we have been neglecting Speed Racer's Film due out the following week on May 9th 2008!

So at the top right is just one of several Film Posters that have come out recently on this cool film starring Christina Ricci as Trixie!

The film also stars Emile Hirsch, Matthew Fox, John Goodman and more!

AGAIN!

Regular Readers of our Blog know that I check our Blog Stats daily and sometimes find out that something has happened or is happening or upcoming because of all the views of the archived blog posts about that person or character!

Yesterday this one was stumping me! 

Our archived blog posts on Laura Vandervoort yesterday and today is reaching 20% of our blog viewership... and I have found out where she will be appearing at soon!

Laura Vandervoort will be appearing at Grand Slam XVI: The Sci-Fi Summit at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel which runs from April 11th - 13th! Laura is shown to be there Saturday only (but schedules are subject to change!)

NOTE: Please be aware that the company that is presenting this con has different pricing tiers for admission, signatures and special events pricing fees. i.e. Leonard Nimoy's signature is sold separately for $60, and not part of any package... so Laura's @$20 additional is a lot less!
