H.G. Wells' Vision Of The End Of The World... Was A Novel, A Movie... And A Comic Book Series! The comic book feature of 'War Of The Worlds' based on HG Wells' vision was in a comic book series from Marvel Comics!It ran in 'Amazing Adventures' #18 May 1973 to the last issue of the title #39 in November 1976. Previously 'Amazing Adventures' had published the Black Widow & The Inhumans from issues #1 thru #8. The Inhumans took over the book from issues #9 - 10. Then the Beast of the X-men was in issues #11-17 when he turned into the Blue Furry Beast. The title had started in August 1970 before settling in and ending with Killraven of 'War of the Worlds'!
