Do YOU Want To Know The 'Guide Value' Of Your Comic Books?
Then what you need is a Comic Book Price Guide! For those of you that go to either estate sales, comic book conventions, swap meets, or even garage sales, having a 'hard copy' comic book price guide is the way to go! Having an 'online guide' doesn't help when your'e not connected! When collectors ask "what does it guide for?", this is the 'Guide' they are usually referencing to. And no, it doesn't mean that you will get that much for your comic, just that it is a 'guide' as to what value is placed on it. Sometimes you'll see listings as 'half guide', or '2x guide' etc. We use the one standard reference that has been in print since the 1970's, and that is the 'Overstreet's Comic Book Price Guide'! Since we refer to it so much we purchase the Spiral Bound Edition, which is coming out the final week of May 2008 if you want to wait for that edition! And the latest edition, #38, is out now for purchase. No, we don't have it for sale, but just wanted to give all of our blog readers a 'heads up' that it has been published!
