Don't Get Him Mad! Hulk Don't Like It When You Make Him Mad !!
The Incredible Hulk at one time had a successful comic book and a TV Show at the same time! So to capitalize on the Hulk's new mainstream visibility, Marvel produced a 'Rampaging Hulk' magazine to differentiate it from the 'Incredible Hulk' comic book and increase newstand sales with a magazine. That lasted a few issues until Marvel decided to just call the mag 'The Hulk' magazine! We have listed a few more of the Hulk magazines today, and are posting this blog post to draw attention to that fact as we normally don't have these in stock since they were oversized publications and normally most were not stored properly. For in depth articles and other info on the Hulk, just click on the magazine cover on the top right to see what issues we have in stock! Thanks for reading our pop culture / comics blog post! Michael | Each Magazine features stories in comic art format, plus articles and photos on the Incredible Hulk !

Is the Featured Story In The Issue of: CINEFANTASTIQUE To the Right! Cinefantastique was a magazine featuring horror, fantasy, and science fiction films with in depth articles and photos within its pages. The magazine originally saw print as a mimeographed fanzine in 1967. Later it relaunched as a glossy, offset quarterly magazine in 1970 by publisher/editor Frederick S. Clarke. (Currently we have one copy of this hard to find OOP collector's item for sale!). The magazine originally intended to be a serious review journal of the film genres. It immediately set the standard for such an enterprise. The magazine's competitors at the time were 'Famous Monsters of Filmland' and 'The Monster Times' both of which were good magazines, but were not high profile magazines. Cinefantastique got rave reviews from the critics due to its' using a slick paper stock and using many full color film stills within its interior pages. Cinefantastique's approach to printing articles and reviews used a near-scholarly approach and didn't speak down to the readers, similar to what Stan Lee did when starting the Marvel Age of Comics. Cinefantastique quickly became known for its jam-packed "retrospective" articles. When it saw it circulation increase, Cinefantastique began producing huge 'double sized issues' which would have a theme, such as the 'Making Of' Star Wars or the 'Making Of' the Black Hole, etc. The magazine has recently gone through a re-organzation and is now called 'CFQ'. For in depth articles on some of the best pop culture movie films OR TV shows, just click on the 'Green Mile' cover on the top right to see what issues of Cinefantastiquewe we have in stock! We have just listed more in our eBay Featured Store! Michael | Cinefantastique features articles and photos on movie like 'The Green Mile' by Stephen King !

SDCC ( SAN DIEGO COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL )MEMORABILIA !
We have posted a few blog posts about the previous conventions and the upcoming SDCC that is held each year in Sunny San Diego, (our backyard) ! While getting prepared to go to the upcoming July 25th preview night, I ran across some old SDCC Program Books that we have accumulated during the years. Plus some other promo items, etc that we have decided to list for sale. Although there were 125,000 attendees at last year's 4 days and nights convention, not all of you are able to attend each year. Thus we are making available some of the items that we are willing to part with! Plus check back with us at the end of July after this year's SDCC for items that we were able to pick up for resale in our eBay Featured Store . Thanks for reading this pop culture / comic books blog post, and feel free to post your comment below! Michael | Click the Above Program Book To See All the SDCC Items We have Listed For Sale!
