I Have Blogging Withdrawals!! 

I Celebrated My  Birthday  On 07-24-07 Tuesday!

Yes, that's correct.... I turned 'Double Nickles' yesterday and 'celebrated' my latest birthday by invoicing, wrapping and then shipping several orders that came in the day before our going to Preview Night at the San Diego Comic Con International (SDCC)!

What with shipping the orders to keep our feedback on a 100% +fb course, and packing our car with comic boxes and travel bags for today's start of the SDCC, I had no time to blog... at all !! 

My birthday blog post, which I had started the day before, didn't get finished, and it would be silly to post it today!  So I have 'blog withdrawals' from not posting or reading blogs at all yesterday!!   LOL !!

This Year, Tina's  birthday 'gift' to me is to go to the SDCC for ALL 4 1/2 days and nights with me!   Add to that, my youngest son is staying with us for the whole week, and is attending all the days and nights too!  So the SDCC should be even bettter this year as I'll have 'company' with me each day!!  (As if the 123,000 attendees that were there last year aren't enough 'company' to have already!!

So, since the SDCC lineup is starting early this afternoon for 'early birds' attending the Preview Night and then continues day and night until Sunday night, this will be the last post for the rest of the week!!

This blog hit the 12,000 mark in 'visitors' earlier this morning before I signed on... Thank you ALL for making this a well read blog, Tina and I appreciate it!

Until Monday, when we start reporting back on programs that we attended at the SDCC, and start listing new items that we picked up at the Con for sale.... Have a great week / weekend!

Tina at  the SDCC Int'l in 2003.  She would hardly wait to have her picture taken before rushing in to attend the next TV Show special program!!   THIS year the programs she wants to see are spread around all four days of program scheduling, instead of the 'Hollywood Saturday' theme the SDCC has been doing the last several years. So She is attending all 4 1/2 days to see the casts and crew of her favorite TV Shows!!

Coming this fall to NBC and one of the most talked-about new series of the upcoming television season, Chuck is a comedic spy thriller that follows a regular help-desk worker who must save the world after downloading the CIA’s database into his brain.

Talk to executive producers Josh Schwartz (The O.C.) and McG (Supernatural), co-executive producer Chris Fedak, and cast members after a premiere screening of the pilot.

Coming this fall to NBC, Chuck is produced by College Hill Pictures, Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television. Room 6B

Tina always kids me about Elvira being there, as we usually see her once during the convention each year!

Sometimes she has a scheduled program... Like when she presented the movie 'Elvira's Haunted Hills'.

Sometimes she has an autograph signing booth under the sails... or is on the exhibit floor for a special signing.

Just doesn't seem the same without running into Elvira at the Con!  (Which I've actually done once without realizing I was doing it!  Saturdays are a 'Madhouse' on the exhibit floor... can't actually walk through the aisles there are sooo many people!!)
