The title of the book may throw you off a bit... as it has art and and a lot of articles from MAD Magazine!! It is a 50th Anniversary Tribute from sucessfull writer Mark Evanier! I enjoy Mark Evanier's programs at the San Diego Comic Con International,(SDCC), as he goes in depth when interviewing the guest speaker(s) he has on his panels. This book is no different! It goes back to 1952 when MAD was a comic book, and gives in depth articles on the original MAD artists and brings you up to date circa 2002 with the latest artists. Definitely a must reading, and for your MAD library of books if you have one started !! Michael |
