One QUARTER Will Get You a Private Film Screening !!

There is a NEW PROMOTION out there right now!

Per USA Today, (05-21-07), 20th Century Fox has had 40,000 quarters emblazoned with the image of the Silver Surfer, who is the 'villain' in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie due out June 15th !

Those finding the coins in circulation can visit the movie's web site and register to win a trip to the London UK premiere or other prizes!!

And the FIRST FOUR to report finding the coins will receive a private screening of the film!!

Don't know if there are 40,000 prizes or not, but the COINS themselves are legal tender! Plus I would think they would command a premium on eBay for Fantastic Four collectors!!

Spider-Man 3 Versus Shjrek 3 Results !

Spider-Man 3 Now #2

At The Theaters! !

( According to USA Today 05-21-07 )

Spider-Man 3 was still a top choice this past weekend with theater goers, coming in at #2 with $28.5 million estimated ticket sales dollars compared with Shrek 3's estimated ticke tales dollars at $122 million during it's debut weekend!

Shrek 3 has come in third in at all time debuts, compared to Spider-Man 3 at $151 million and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 at $135 million!

Spider-Man 3 has taken in $281.9 million in three weekends domestically and nearly $750 million worldwide!

This Friday another blockbuster enters the theater wars, Pirates of the Caribbean 3! We'll see how Spidey 3 and Shrek 3 fare this weekend, and we will report back to you then.... It is a great time to go the movies as we have a large choice of films that need to be seen on the BIG SCREEN to be appreciated!

Are the Simpsons Getting LOST In The Crowd ???

the Simpsons Movie........

...with a Release Date of July 27th "IS BEING LOST IN THE CROWD" of all the BIG movies being released in May, (Spidey 3, Shrek 3, Pirates 3).

We watched the Jack Bauer versus Bart Simpson episode last night on The Simpsons TV Show and were reminded this movie is coming out soon.

Should YOU be excited about the Simpsons Movie?

We've only been waiting for a big-screen version of 'The Simpsons' for six years or so...

The not-so-revealing teaser trailer that has been released somehow only whets our appetite for more.

Possibly the film studio is waiting for the three earlier released movies to do battle, and then swoop in and get the remainder of the dollars for movie tickets with no competition ?!

Jack Bauer versus Bart Simpson ?!

What a teaser! More of Jack just before Monday night's 2 hour Season Finale!

Springfield's School has its' own CTU ????

Yes it does! (Counter Truancy Unit !!!!)

Tina and I are big fans of the '24' TV show, and I used to watch Simpsons all the time during the first ten seasons or so....

We both found this episode of the Simpsons to be really cute and funny... we love a great parody !

Best moment of this episode ???

Jack versus Bart of course! If you didn't see this episode be sure to catch the re-run this summer!

Is Coming Your Way In July !

Feedback , the new comic book written by Stan Lee hits the stands in July 2007 !

It is the long awaited comic book about the winner of the Sci-Fi Channel TV Show 'Who Wants To Be A Superhero?'.

The one-shot comic will be published by Dark Horse Comics and will have a $3.99 tag.

For retailers, now is the time to be placing orders with your distributor for this comic book. The buzz is that this upcoming comic book could be a good 'gamble' with a potential cash-in.

Since it is an 'independent comic,' (not one of the big two publishers Marvel or DC), the initial print run will probably be a low number.

If it becomes sought after,due to the number of viewers that watched the first series, then it could be one of those 'Instant collectibles'.

The TV Show series ended with a promise that a comic book would be made, but the show premiered last July 27th, 2006.... wonder how long the mainstream public would remember this promise???!

The series started last summer with twelve contestants who were selected and then called to a meeting with Stan Lee. He explained in the way only Stan 'the Man' could, how the competition would work and then it all began!

The contestants were Cell Phone Girl, Creature, Major Victory, The Iron Enforcer, Fat Momma, Feedback, Levity, Lemuria, Monkey Woman, Rotiart, Nitro G and Tyveculus. All wanted to be the next great superhero produced by Stan Lee, but it was 'Feedback' that won the big prize! Believe or not, a second series of this show is in the works!!
