Box Office Results ! 

( According to USA Today 05-20-07 ) 

Pirates 3 helped bring total box office ticket sales to a record $255 million this past weekend!

Ticket sales for the top 10 movies surged 6% from the same weekend last year!

In its' first week out, Pirates 3 (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End), took in $139.8 million !

Shrek 3 came in 2nd this weekend with $67.0 million in ticket sales, with a total of $217.3 million in ticket sales in the two weeks it has been out!

Spider-Man 3 was in 3rd place with $18.1 million in ticket sales with a grand total of $307.8 million in ticket sales domestically !

The above movies are miles ahead of the rest of their competition.... Bug on its' first week came in at 4.02 million !

Disturbia, now in its' 7th week came in at #7.

Personally I am looking forward to June 15th when Fantastic Four 2: The Rise of the Silver Surfer hits the big screen!
