Keri Russell....

.... was the star of the James Brady Feature Article in the November 4th Parade Magazine this past Sunday.

It would appear that Keri 'read' for the part of 'Lois Lane' in the latest Superman movie, 'Superman Returns', but lost out to Kate Bosworth for the role!

Keri was part of the cast of young showbiz stars that spawned from Disney's 'The All New Mickey Mouse Club'.

For those that don't know... that group also included Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and members of 'N Sync boy band!

Keri is best known due to the lead role she held on the TV series Felicity before its cancellation in 2002.

However she went on to star on the big screen in movies like 'We Were Soldiers' (2002), 'The Upside of Anger' (2005) and 'Mission: Impossible III' (2006).

I was not aware, until this Parade Magazine article, that she had been considered for 'Lois Lane'!

For those interested in Superman comic books, we carry those in our eBay Featured Store

For those interested in Lois Lane comic books, just click on Keri's photo to the top left!

OMAC

OMAC Was JACK KIRBY'S mid 1970's vision of the Future in a comic book series.

One of the great things about attending comic book conventions, is that we are able to pick up complete sets of comic book series from other dealers that we can buy, read and enjoy,  then list in our eBay store for others to obtain at reasonable prices.

The OMAC (One Man Army Corps) series by Jack Kirby is one that we have never read in its' complete run.  With having the complete run now to read at one sitting, it is very interesting on how the 'King of Comics' viewed the Future in this series.

It is one of the strangest comic book series that I have ever read, with views on aging, peace keeping, and other topics that are still talked about today.... the best thing for me was the usual Jack Kirby machinery, of which he was master of drawing !!

I personally rank Jack's Fantastic Four series, (with Stan Lee), as my favorite comic book run of all time, and it is so strange to see what Jack produced on his own after leaving Stan at Marvel.  I like several of the Kamandi, Silver Star, and Eternals issues, but this OMAC series is so weird that I don't know what to make of it after reading it all !

If you have not read this series, or missed a few issues, we have them listed in our eBay store and you can find them by clicking the photo of Jack at the top left corner!

Yes,

In X-Files II

David Duchovny has long been ready to do the sequel.

However Gillian Anderson was hesitant, but earlier this year said she would do it.

So the lawsuit the creator, Chris Carter had with Fox needed to be resolved.

That has been finalized, so now we keep hearing about new developements on the movie...

So the movie is said to be in production, but by the time it comes out... (supposedly July 25th, 2008), will there be any interest from earlier fans???

The TV Show has been 'prime time' for years!

Just click on the top left photo to see our X-Files listings!

And Here Is "Our Take"

On The

10-22-07 Episode

Journeyman is a New NBC Show that airs on Monday Nights at 10 PM, After 'Heroes'.

Tina and I already blogged our thoughts about the Pilot Episode ...  click here to see !

There was NO 'Our Take' for last week's show, as we were asked to evacuate due to the Southern California Fires!

Additionally, our NBC local station ran nothing but Fires Coverage the next two days, so regular network programming was not shown.

That is, until yesterday, Sunday afternoon the 28th, when Chuck, Heroes, and Journeyman were all run starting in the late afternoon!

The most exciting developement in this episode is that the 'Journeyman's' young son saw him disappear using 'his magic' as his son called it, when he time travelled.  Now we have both the wife and the son knowing some portion of the Journeyman's disappearing at strange times of the day and night.

It's about time! Especially since earlier in this same episode that Dan Vasser left his son unattended when he time travelled!

And Here Is

'Our Take'

 From The 10-15 Episode!

Again, this will not be a scene by scene synopsis of the epsisode from last night.

Rather it is just our thoughts on the progress of the show so far this season up to the 10-15-07 episode.

First of all, both Tina and I were a little disappointed as to who(m) were depicted last night in scenes.

Again, Maya and her brother had plenty of air-time, but finally we see an 'original' player from last year enter the scene. Sylar!

He is given a ride by the American who is also transporting Maya and her brother because they broke him out of jail...

Ok, we'll see how this plays out, but still not interested in Maya or her brother.

We see Micah, and his cousins in New Orleans... lots of air-time there, as his female cousin turns out to have a power too...

What's happened to Peter??? Nothing this episode...

What's happend to Hiro??? Nothing this episode...

We do see development on HRG and the Cheerleader. Her new 'boyfriend' actually is a character that may be interesting to follow...

Tina voices aloud that this season of Heroes is starting to travel the way 'Lost' did in the Season it 'Lost' its' way with us.

More new characters are introduced, at the expense of not developing the original characters... and more new tangents that just slow down what we are tuning in to see...

NBC Monday night is all we watch at this time, but each show appears to be up and down in our interest barometer each week!
