We hit the 27,000th mark of visitors with approx 90,000 page views at 03:50 AM PDT on Monday, November 12th, with a view of our  May 16th 2007 blog post on the 'Lost' Episode titled 'Greatest Hits'.

For those that are new to us, here is a little Background on our Blog:

This Blog started June 7th 2006 shortly after eBay announced the new blogging format.

July 15th 2006 we added on a stats counter as we found most viewers read but didn't comment and we wanted to know if we were being 'read'!

We also started expanding our pop culture topics as we found that more and more bloggers finding us enjoyed several of the TV Shows that we also enjoyed. Thus 'Our Take' on episodes on TV Shows that we watch was born!

We continue to blog about TV Shows and are concerned that the WGA Strike will affect our blogging about the shows! We will continue to do so until either all the new episodes are aired... or we lose interest in that particular show!

We want to thank ALL of you for stopping in and visiting our Blog today. If there are topics we don't discuss but could fit our pop culture - comic books related theme, feel free to add them below!

Hopefully the WGA Strike won't last 'forever', and we'll be able to bring you more of 'Our Takes' on new TV Show episodes as well as comic book related posts!

To view our recent blog posts, just click on the 'squares' in the left column to view those topics!

Regarding our archived blog posts: Please be aware that eBay techs have revised the blogging format, thus our archived posts may be distorted to read... sorry about that but it is out of our control here!

10th Anniversary of 'Steel' the Film

'Steel' was the name of a 1997 comic book movie starring the basketball star Shaquille O'Neal and also 'X-Files' star Annabeth Gish.

It was a superhero action-adventure film that was based on the DC Comics character of the same name.

The movie which was released on August 15th 2007, was considered a huge disappointment both critically and financially.

The film 'Steel' was produced for an estimated $16,000,000 but grossed only $1,686,429 at the box office during its' run!

Today, this movie is almost always included in everyone's Top 10 WORST Comic Book Movies of all time!

Believe it or not, I've not seen this one, and was only researching it because we have some 'Steel' Comics that we picked up for sale!

'Our Take' From The 11-12-07 Episode Of Heroes!

'Four Months Ago'

This is NOT a detailed synopsis of the epsisode from Monday Night. Just Our Thoughts On the Episode and the Season in general.

Additionally Here is our:

SPOILER WARNING! Do Not Read below this line if YOU Don't Want to Know What We Think Is Going ON!

The episode started in the present, and soon flashed back to 'Four Months Ago', the title of this episode.

Problem is, we have waited until this Chapter 8 of the New Season to find out what happened since the end of Season 1.

So the build-up was there... but did this episode deliver?

Well, first we had 'Four Months Ago', then 'Three Months Ago, and then... well it counts down... from there.

We did get to see where Elle figured into the plot, which was OK. Also that the Haitian saved Peter by erasing his memory and handcuffing him inside the seagoing crate.

The big thrill promised was 'The Answers - Tonight!' from all the teasers leading up to this episode played since last week on NBC shows.

IMHO this episode didn't deliver the Big Punch needed to get this Show as exciting as last season, but it delivered us several answers in one episode.

For 'Heroes' several answers are a lot more than usually presented in one episode!

We did get to see almost all of the First Season 'Heroes' and were brought up to date on them, so I'm not complaining... just that 'THE Answers - Tonight' just didn't deliver the punch in the tone of voice used in the teaser commercials!

'Our Take'

On The

11-12-07 Episode

Journeyman is a New NBC Show that airs on Monday Nights at 10 PM, After 'Heroes'.

Tina and I already blogged our thoughts about the Pilot Episode ...  click here to see !

SPOILER WARNING! Don't read the following if you don't want to know what happened this episode!

This episode's main plot line was a little disjointed for me.

Additionally Tina thought that parts of the episode were just a little too fabricated, and we both thought that this was NOT one of the better episodes of the Season.

However, there was a BIG REVEAL this episode!

Livia Beale lives in the year 1948 and travels to the future!

Whereas Dan Vasser, (the Journeyman) lives in 2007 and travels to the past.

Which is why Dan says then that is why they were always 'out of sync' in their relationship.

This 'reveal' disappointed me, as it seems poorly written at this time. Just seems 'unreal' that Dan, a newspaperman, wouldn't have figured out something was different about his girlfriend before she disappeared!

Plus Tina thinks that Livia does not look like she could pass back in 1948 with her hairstyle and makeup....

I really like this show, so this was a disappointing episode for me!
