Virtual Visitor Could Have Chosen To View!

We hit the 27,000th mark of visitors with approx 90,000 page views at 03:50 AM PDT today, November 12th, with a view of our  May 16th 2007 blog post on the 'Lost' Episode titled 'Greatest Hits'.

With the WGA Strike now starting its' second week, we may be having more bloggers viewing our blog posts on TV Shows past episodes, as several TV Shows are expected to run out of new episodes in December! 

For those that are new to us, here is a little Background on our Blog:

This Blog started June 7th 2006 shortly after eBay announced the new blogging format.

July 15th 2006 we added on a stats counter as we found most viewers read but didn't comment and we wanted to know if we were being 'read'!

We also started expanding our pop culture topics as we found that more and more bloggers finding us enjoyed several of the TV Shows that we also enjoyed. Thus 'Our Take' on episodes on TV Shows that we watch was born! 

We want to thank ALL of you for stopping in and visiting our Blog today. If there are topics we don't discuss but could fit our pop culture - comic books related theme, feel free to add them below! 

Hopefully the WGA Strike won't last 'forever', and we'll be able to bring you more of 'Our Takes' on new TV Show episodes as well as comic book related posts!

November 16th is the release of the adult fantasy film 'Beowulf' that also stars Angelina Jolie in virtual CGI form.

Here Are Tina's Thoughts on the preview program she attended at the San Diego Comic Con on the movie:

Neil Gaiman and director Roger Avery gave Comic Con fans a first look at a 2-D trailer for the upcoming movie 'Beowulf', (Paramount Pictures, November 16th, 2007)!

The digitally enhanced live action is their attempt to 'tell the oldest story in the English language', said Gaiman, 'with the technology we have today'.

To me it was a little creepy and alienating, but maybe Angelina Jolie just creeps me out...

Jolie's part of what Gaiman calls his 'bull---- casting'. Gaiman continues with 'You know the game we all play, who would you cast for...??'

Holed up in Mexico writing the screenplay and drinking too much beer Gaiman and Avery speculated on their dream cast; Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich and Crispen Glover.  They were amazed when everyone said yes!

Well, in November we'll see if the the movie is a dream or a nightmare...

Chuck vs The Alma Mater!

Last Monday night's episode is one of the reasons why this show is continuing on its' path to be one of the best new shows of the season IMHO!

We get to see Chuck go back to face the Professor who had him kicked out of Stanford, and find out the reason why!

For those of you that did not see the episode yet, I won't reveal the reason, as you can possibly see this episode online.

This is a fun show, as it doesn't have as much continuity baggage as shows like 'Heroes' or twists that are thrown in to throw the viewer off like 'Lost'. (We do like both of those shows by the way!)

It is just a fun escapist spy-like show with characters that are appealing, yet has a plot line that doesn't insult your intelligence!
