Will This Make It To the BIG SCREEN ???

The Ant-Man Movie

was mentioned at the 2006 SDCC.

Unfortunately there was NO program at the 2007 SDCC Comic Con showing any update status on the 'upcoming' Ant-Man Movie!

Just updates on some green guy (Hulk) and an iron-clad man (Iron Man)....for Marvel Productions.

Checking on the status of the Ant-man movie, the latest news is from August 2007, when according to Edgar Wright, "We're figuring things out with the script and we haven't initiated casting."

So this movie may still be 'in production' but has a long ways to go!

TV Shows

That Our Parakeet Watches!

Regular readers of our blog will know that Tina and I enjoy blogging 'Our Take' on TV Shows, DVDs and Movies that we watch.

When we are at home watching the above, our parakeet, 'Clouds', watches several of the shows or movies with us!

So for fun, and for posting to the new 'Parakeets Special Interest Group' that has started on eBay... here is Cloud's favorite TV Shows.

1) Dancing With the Stars

2) American Idol

3) 'Lost'

4) Survivor

5) Next Great American Band

Why those TV shows? Well you'll notice that songs, singing, and music in general make up most of those Top 5 shows.

Clouds 'rocks out', bobbing his head up and down to the music when it is on! Seriously! He also dances when the songs are up-tempo.

The other two shows have 'bird calls' and other weird animal noises that get his attention. Then he starts talking to the birds on TV like he tries to do to outside birds that come by his 'little house' in our home.

Thought we'd post this here first, and then to the SIG.

'Our Take" On The Survivor TV Show 11-08-07 Episode!

Episode 8 (Whole #1508)

SPOILER WARNING - DO NOT READ THE BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE!

This episode started the breaking up of the cliques.

There were 9 Survivors left at the beginning of this episode.

When it came to the Reward Challenge, two teams of four were chosen with the final one sitting out, and having no chance to share in the reward.

At the reward, the winners were given an object that contained all the clues to the hidden immunity idol(s). Jean-Robert had not known of this possibility and started his 'poker-playing' skills immediately to locate it.

His actions bothered several on the Tribe, and those survivors started thinking either James or Jean-Robert should be voted out if they did not win the Immunity Challenge.

James thought he was totally safe, and didn't bother bringing the two hidden immunity idols he had found to Tribal Council. The look on his face when votes started being called with his name was actually funny! However it was Jean-Robert who finally was voted out!

Note: Tina wants to know, why if they have clothes for Tribal Council... why don't they wear them instead of being two-thirds naked during the rest of the time???

The Klingon Lifestyle!

Was Presented At The SDCC

At the San Diego Convention Center

As previously blogged, the Klingons take over the Comic Con one night each year.

Last year the IKV Stranglehold lost a valued member of the crew after a traitorous act.

Their current mission forced them to travel a path few return from to regain what they lost.

All species were welcomed to experience the ongoing voyage and adventure of life aboard a Klingon vessel.

For those of you that have never seen this ongoing Klingon Presentation at the SDCC, you got to take in at least a few minutes of it. Either it will grab you or you'll shortly afterwards!

My youngest son had never seen this, and was surprised at how intricate the 'play' turned out to be that night.

Unfortunately the sound system was not the best, and unless you were in the front with hundreds of other watchers you couldn't hear every Klingon!
