Plus you should have seen all the audience members run up to get 'free stuff' that he was either giving out or throwing in to the crowd! Sometimes just watching him express his love for the genre is even better than some of the flicks he shows! At The 8th Annual Kung-Fu Extravaganza
Which Was Presented At The San Diego Comic Con ( SDCC) On 07-26-07 Thursday From 09:00 Pm to 12:00 Pm in Room 6CDEF At the San Diego Convention Center The below is what was published in the program schedule (italics), and what I wrote about (regular script), the program I knew we would be attending at least part of! -------------------Thursday 9:00 pm -12:00 pm 8th Annual Kung-Fu Superhero Extravaganza Martial art movie master Ric Meyers is back with his annual clip fest of the wildest, craziest, funniest, and most amazing live Asian action you've ever laid your lacerated eye orbs on. As always, get ready to laugh, gasp, cheer, and maybe even grab a freebie or two. Last year was SRO, so don't miss out on the fun! Room 6CDEF Gotta Tell Ya: I have been to all of these, and Tina has attended just a few... The night is either Great or Realllly Bad ! Ric gets into themes with these programs and either you like the theme and stay all night, or groan after a while and leave! ------------------- 11-01-07 Well, it's a little late in coming... but I gotta tell you that you have to take this program in when you attend the Con in San Diego! I'm getting a little older, so just can't hang out as long as I used to, but you gotta see at least part of this long program to see what is happening in this genre!
