It's been a couple of months since video game veteran art director Jerry O'Flaherty was announced to be the director for the CG-Animated Thundercats movie for Warner Brothers. The movie is of course based on the popular 1980's cartoon series that has had toys, comics and other items spring up from the cartoons. O'Flaherty's background was as art director on bestselling games such as "Gears of War" and "Unreal Tournament 3" for Epic Games. Of course as soon as it was announced, speculators started buying up old issues of the comics in preparation for a surge in interest!
